Question Could Buffy control herself as a rat?

In Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered, Amy turned Buffy into a rat. Was Buffy still there in rat form, and could she control her actions? She says afterwards that she recalls a need for cheese, does that explain why she would run away from Xander and Giles?

I suppose she probably had some control, but her instincts were probably that of a Rat, hence to run from people and to have an urge to eat cheese lol. I mean she didn't have that urge to eat Cheese as Buffy lol.

Yeah I think she probably could control herself somewhat but only so much as to find food and run away from scary noises. Like rats do.

Or maybe she just remembered it, but didn't have any control at the time . . . hmm . . .

Would it be inappropriate to point out here that the entire rats loving cheese thing is a myth? Sure, they will eat it if there's nothing else around, but Rat Buffy would have been much more likely to crave peanut butter or corn than cheese.

I think that she both instincts.... She fled from the cat - the animal. She didn't walk into the mousetrap the human instinct because rats don't know how mousetraps working.
