Could Buffy live a Civilian life?

As long as there are demons and vampires in her world, as a Slayer, Buffy would see them, and she would be compelled to fulfill her mission. The only way that she could possibly walk away from that and never return would be if all of the things that she was Called to fight no longer existed. To me, that says no, unless she were able to somehow be transported into another dimension where such things are mere fiction, legend, and folk tale.
I think no.
It's kind of like Angel losing his vampirism so to speak in IWRY. Even as a regular human he goes off to fight a demon, there were reasons yes, but that's kind of the point, there would always be reasons... I think Buffy would be the same.
We see in "Helpless" how losing her powers, at first, essentially strips Buffy of her identity. And then she hadn't even been the Slayer for all that long. Add another seven years to that and I think it's so ingrained in who she is that even without powers she wouldn't be able to live a civilian life, let alone if she still had them.
