I thought it was a great turn for the character & the story & we definitely saw another side to her but could she have been more malicious? I personally think one thing she could have done is turned Dawn back into the key or the green energy & possibly killed another one of the trio. What do you guys think?

I dunno, I thought attempting to destroy the world would feature pretty highly on the scale of evil. Not much that can top that.

I suppose thats true. I guess my question was could she have done more damage while she was evil before trying to end the world like reverting Dawn back into the key or killing all of the trio

I think they did a fine job with the character, I don't think there was much more they could have done.

Well, from the sound of it, I think that Willow was going to do to dawn what she had done to Rack, literally drain out her energy, but then Buffy shows up IIRC and Willow leaves. However, I don't think that Willow could go much darker then she did, I mean trying to start an apocalypse and destroy the world is about as dark as it gets.
Of course she could be more evil, everyone of the Scooby gang could be killed by her, at least Xander who tried to rescue her!
Or she could trie to destroy our universe or our dimension! Just to give an example for " It can't get worse!"
But what about bringing more demons from another dimension into ours. she did that once when she let Buffy return.
Or she could create more rings of Amara to let Vampires become Indestructible. I think she would have enought power to do that!
Last try .. what about a speel which bring a double of her to life? What's more dangerous than one dark Willow?

I'm glad that she didn't turn Dawn back a ball of energy or...whatever haha. Maybe she could have killed one of the trio, but I'm sure that the writers didn't want her to go too far. How could she have come back from doing that to Dawn or going on a killing rampage? I don't know. I think she went far enough, for her character. Trying to destroy the world was pretty big.
