Since Quor'toth, the hell dimension Sahjhan opened up and Connor ended up, was not accessible via portals, etc. The only way to get there was to tear at the fabric of reality. However the Key, the mystical energy that became Dawn, dissolved the barriers between dimensions.

So when Glory tried to use the Key to go back to her home dimension, would Quor'toth have been one of those dimensions that was opened up by the Key? Or was it too inaccessible, even for the Key?

If I am parsing your question correctly, Dawn could not open anything. She had to be sacrificed at a specific time and place and the effect would be indiscriminate - all dimensions would meld together, so the distinctions between earth, Quor'toth and other dimensions would cease to have any meaning. It also doesn't guarantee that even if deimensional barriers fell that Angel and Connor would automatically be reunited - the earth is a large place and Quor'toth may be just as large. For example, if I had a friend in Russia and the boundaries between Russia and Canada disappeared, it would mean I wouldn't need a passport, but it would still be a case of a person in the second-largest country searching through the largest country to find someone.

No, Dawn opened portals to other dimensions, whereas to access Quor'Toth you had to rip through the fabric of space and time. At least that's my interpretation based on the facts given in the show.

Dawn didn't open up a portal. Her blood dropped the barrier between all realities. A portal in my opinion is a single entrance, her blood was making things appear. Not just demon, but landscapes as well were beginning to appear. All in all I think Dawn would have opened up a link to Quortoth momentarily, but I don't think it would have affected Connor in anyway. (But you never know)
