Could There be an SMG Foiler?

OK...remember when Lindsey surprised everyone by just showing up, and not even the spoiler people knew about it?

That's called a foiler. Apparently they shot the Lindsey/Eve scene in secret, thus spoiling the spoilers.

I just read an interview with David Boreanaz from the TV Guide site, and I'm wondering if it might be possible to read something between the lines in one of David's responses. Here it its:

TVGO: A lot of us were disappointed to hear Sarah won't pop up in the finale. How do you feel about it?

Boreanaz: You know, I went over to her finale and she said she would come over to mine. It would've been nice to have her over here. I guess it was Joss's decision. He wrapped it up the way he wanted to. I'll just leave it at that.

I don't honestly think an SMG surprise appearance is going to happen, but what if it did? Wouldn't it be the champion foiler of all time.

Also imagine the egg on the WB's face. They would have missed out on a chance to promote it, and build up their ratings for sweeps. I'd love that.
 
Haha yeah, except it would still go against Joss' beliefs. He doesn't want the finale to center around Buffy. He wants all the 'Angel' cast to be the focus.
 
I'm thinking a quick, in and out, commando style, walk-on, appearance, like what Angel did in Chosen. It would still be enough to cause a major freak-out in the fan community, and make Jordan Levin spit his morning porridge onto his bib, as he reads about it in the trades.
 
It soooooo has to happen, that would defiantly kick the WB in the teeth. I have always said about SMG appearing but it never being let out like with Lindsay.
 
Nah. Dushku is much more likely. Just from what has been said from all parties. 'Sides, I don't even want Gellar back. Her part is done. We know what her character is up to, the main question mark is Faith. If Dushku wraps that up, and the main plot is left to the primary cast (which I don't think that Gellar would allow to happen) then I'll be happy... hey I am Happy! Coincidence.... you be the judge!
 
It wouldve been the ultimate foiler, and have people peeing in their pants with excitement.

Sarah has already said that she wants the show"Angel" to stand on its own and not be in Buffys shadow like some people see it, so I dont think she would mind the finale being all about them and not her charecter.

But to bad she wont appear but I can understand why she cant.

Having Faith would be a good foiler to but I wouldnt be as surprised.
 
It might be good, but I think the Angel finale needs to be about the Angel cast, like the Buffy finale was all about the Buffy cast. Angel is a standalone show in it's own right, and it needs a proper send off. Sarah might boost this, but I'd only like her to be in it for a few minutes (if at all) as David was in the Buffy finale.
 
How about a Buffy phone-call? That way you wouldn't even have to have SMG on an Angel set.
