Could you see Cordelia in season 5 of Angel?

After "You're Welcome", could you see Cordelia in the entire 5th season of Angel?

I think that she would have been a real asset to the 5th Season. Just the resulting banter between her and Harmony would have been great, and her reaction to Spike showing up would have been great. (Anybody want to bet that she'd be president of the "Send Spike Back To Buffy...NOW!!!" committee?)

No. By then 'my' Cordy was gone and what I had seen or been left with in season 4 I was done with and over. I loved "You're welcome", it restored old Cordy love to me, but utlimately the character had done her part for me and I had no need for her and didn't miss her.

I could have seen Cordy back in Season 5, but I agree with Taake that it would have to be her returning post Your Welcome. I would not have enjoyed her contesting the decision to join W&H in the early season, and I think a break was needed to distance her from the evil Cordelia, so that we felt that we had our Cordy back.

Of course! Cordelia's absence in almost all of season 5 left a big hole, she was of the utmost importance to the show. Thankfully, they somewhat made up for it by having Spike play a bigger role in the second part of the season. However, even Spike couldn't replace Cordy. 🙁 I'd have never gotten into the show if she had not been by Angel's side in the first place.

I think she would've been great in season five,once she wakes from the coma she sets in motion the arc of "waking" Angel up. Making him realize that he cant be complacent about the evil of the wolf the Ram the Hart,but rather must fight against it,and have her death be on the finale rather than the 100th episode. I think it would've been great. 🙂
