Countdown to Halloween ๐ŸŽƒ

I saw hot cross buns a while back, does that count?

Probably not, as though those are still most common at Easter, they appear to be turning into an all-year item. Admittedly, so do Creme Eggs.

That depends on how many the shop orders, if to many are ordered they are then sold in the months that follow until they are gone.
I hope everyone had an enjoyable and delightfully spooky Halloween!

Waaaahhhhhhh when you hear strange noises in the chimney at Christmas. When little boys and girls love to see a stranger in the house.
And the best part, does Santa fit under the bed? Because that is where monsters are said to make the best noises!
And what would make the best monster noises? A fat old man that likes to slowly exude a moan . . .
. . hoh, hoh, hoh!

@ILLYRIAN I think the true origins of Bonfire Night are now mostly irrelevant. It might be more accurate to call it a celebration of pyromania and things blowing up!

Regarding seasonal items, here shops don't sell them over several months. They rapidly reduce them to get them out the door and most are gone in the first week. Heck, yesterday the shops I went to were already out or nearly out of Halloween sweets.
