Alright, scobro inspired me and so here's a banner I tried out and we'll see how well it worked. First time I've tried this, so, *crosses fingers* The banner made me want to do a WP, so, first the WP, then the banner:

I like the Christmas banner (... although we all know it should say Drogyn, because that's the cool house 😉) 🙂

The Bangel banner ... it's weird getting used to, seeing a banner that doesn't have this typical rectangular form, BUT, this leaving the edges out has something cool. It makes the banner unique (okay, maybe not unique, but at least special, this is the first time I've seen a banner like that). You have to be careful there though, like in this one, in the right Buffy a bit of her cheek is missing I think.
 
Hehe, thanks, Cangel. 🙂 Yeah, the cropping is a little tricky and I'm still working on getting it smooth... so, here are two River-y ones (I guess I somehow merge Russian Ballerina and River into one character through a very twisted and complicated deal involving the Academy and the Alliance and yes, I'm shutting up now)...

I love sparkly banners so much (I guess I'm just a girly girl underneath my tomboy exterior!)

Tell me how you did it! Please? I've been trying to figure out how to do those exact sparkles for awhile now!
 
Well, I used two different methods. The first was using the sparkle on the three individual layers on the right side (Filters; Light and Shadow; Sparkle). I just played around with it until I got the look I wanted.

I then used the brush in white in the sparkle/star shape and applied it wherever I felt like. 😉 I also used the softglow (Filters; Artistic; Softglow) on the three layers on the right to some extent.

I love sparkly things, too, so it was muchly fun. 😀 :glitter: Probably why that bit of "Under Your Spell" was my favourite. 😉

Alright. This WP was made through blood, sweat and tears. Well, no blood. I had to start over so many times because GIMP does not like saving things of 25+ layers as .xcf. No, I do not recall the final layer count, nor do I care to. 😛 Anyway, this was stubborn and I finally decided enough was enough. I have too many other ideas floating around my head. And just as a clarification, it is indeed of Amy Acker.



EDIT: Yes, I know, that isn't the actual quote from Romeo and Juliet, but I'm not too much on the caring right now. 😉

Alright. A question for all y'all who know what you're doing:

My goal with this piece is to capture a scrapbook-esque feel. Naturally, this is all a rather wishverse take on the whole thing. 😛 I'm just not sure where to go from here. Also, any tips on getting a nice, straight erase when I try and erase stuff? Around the scrapbook and the picture in the upper right corner are the biggest problems I have with that. I know some of y'all use GIMP... 😉

But I think you got some it working well esp on the 'Looking good for xander' and 'Buffy' the edges are great

Scobro, I used the Angel font for the Wesley wp. And as to the banner... totally unintentional. 😉
