Crazy laugh

. Anya ( serves a customer ) : Please go!. Followed by "Hey, you! Have a nice day."

. The Yoko Factor. Xander: "Tara's your girlfriend?" Giles (upstairs): "Bloody hell!"

Both of those are great moments... 😀 This thread is making me want to go rewatch some eps...

That scene actually makes me mad, because I get the feeling that the writers are actually laughing in our faces here. Pretty much like "Yeah, we know this season was crappy. What, you thought we were serious?"

I'm guessing here, but that sounds like the perspective of someone who didn't like season 6. (Just a guess - apologies if I've missed the mark.) I loved season 6, so it never occurred to me that they were dissing the season with that exchange. I also happen to love seeing Anthony laughing 🙂 so that could be coloring my reaction to that exchange too. He has such a lovely laugh.

I have approximately 800 individual scenes captured to my computer, so I can rewatch particular scenes any time I want. 🙂 Buffy-on-demand.

So many fun scenes, so little time:

- Xander and Cordelia's first kiss:
Cordelia: I bet you wouldn't! I bet you'd let a girl go off to her doom all by herself!
Xander: Not just any girl. You're special.

- Giles trying out his pick-up lines in "Some Assembly Required".

- Pretty much everything in Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered, once the spell kicks in.

- Xander shaking his cross, as if to check if the batteries are working in Doppelgangland

- "I will be back in the Middle Ages"/ "Did you ever leave?"

- TARA: Willow's good at all that computer stuff, but me not so much. Do you really understand all that?
ANYA: Oh. Well, at first it was confusing. Just the idea of computers was like, "whoa, I'm eleven hundred years old. I had trouble adjusting to the idea of Lutherans."
TARA: I go online sometimes, but ... everyone's spelling is really bad, and it's ... depressing.
ANYA: But you have to try online trading, it's great! The secret is avoiding the tech companies everyone was jumping on, and, and going with the smaller firms that supply the basic components.
TARA: Uh-huh.
ANYA: Anyway, I took the money from working for Giles, and I tripled it.
TARA: Tripled? Like, first money, then money money money?
ANYA: Yes. I'm thinking about buying something very expensive. Maybe an antelope.

- The Council people interrogating Anya, Xander, Willow and Tara in Checkpoint.

- Xander's use of the "no smoking" sign in Beer Bad

- Snyder: I mean, it's incredible. One day the campus is completely bare. Empty. The next, there are children everywhere. Like locusts. Crawling around, mindlessly bent on feeding and mating. Destroying everything in sight in their relentless, pointless desire to exist.
Giles: I do enjoy these pep talks. Have you ever considered, given your abhorrence of children, school's principal was not, perhaps, your true vocation?
Snyder: Somebody's got to keep an eye on them. They're just a bunch of hormonal time bombs. Every time a pretty girl walks by every boy turns into a gibbering fool.
Snyder: I try and tell 'em about the important things in life. Discipline, responsibility, punctuality. Might as well be talking to myself.
