crazy tattoo artist

hahahahaha....even though it was hella dick...i can understand...people shouldn't get ink just cause they want to look cool...it better have a meaning...or else its just as bad as calvin klein underwear...

Personally think it's awful; I know of one casualty or doctors storyline, where this girl had her boyfriend's name tattooed across her shoulder blades in gothic style writing; only the tattoo artist was a friend of her boyfriend, and they knew she had cheated on him, so they tattooed her with "slut" instead of "stan". It constitutes aggravated assualt here in the UK (2 year average prison sentence) It's a total abuse of trust.

On the other hand I agree with Soulgasm; Ialways think you should know what you're getting done, and have itm ean something to you; else it's no more than painting your nails...
 
Thing is I want to learn Japanese so if I were to get a Japanese tattoo I'd go in with the word writen down saying "I want this" and hope they say "Oh that means..." and I'll say "Yes I know Japanese" caus I dont want this to happen to be, although its funny
 
ash is totally right...if the people learned about the word....learned the kanji...learned the meanings and stories behind it...then its cool...cause it shows respect toward the culture...but since they didn't...then they kinda deserved what they got...
 
Thats why when I got my chinese ones done I took them from a dictionary and was there while the tattooist copied it and enlarged it....heard too many horror stories to let that happen to me.
