Not yet. The problem is from the looks of the trailer than it is trying too hard to be the next Buffy. The humour does seem a bit lame to be me.

I'll give E2 a go but I know what you mean. Maybe if I could quit looking for Buffy parallels and focus on the story I'll like it better?
 
I was thinking of watching it, seeing you guys hesitate to go on to episode 2 makes me hesitate though. Haha, I'll probably give it a go though. How long are the episodes?

Yes I think you have to take it on it's own terms, and when the actors have settled down it might be good. It isn't as funny as Buffy either.
 
That was enjoyable, definitely NOT the new Buffy though! The 'Misfits' influence is evident with having the same creator and I loved that show! I will watch the rest of the series!
 
I binge watched 5 episodes last night, just the finale to go. It is pretty good I think, yes the storyline is very similar to BtVS season 1, yes there are scenes that you think are pretty much copied (the false bottom trunk sticks out), but it is different. I had the same feelings watching 'Wynonna Earp', which I enjoyed. I think I would recommend watching this... It will go the same way as 'Misfits' though!
 
I have them all recorded but not yet had a watch.... problem is other stuff is higher priority on the watch list! I'll try to get through them at Christmas.
 
PS @GoSpuffy I merged your new thread with my old one, as there's no point two existing for the same thing 🙂
 
@Athena sorry, didn't see your thread. 🙂 Its snowing again and I'm curled up on the chesterfield watching E2 right now.
 
Yes, it was ok...be nice to see where it goes from here if there is a second season?
