Hey, I was just wondering who you think the scariest/creepiest stand alone villians are?(spoilers if you haven't watched Buffy and Ats)

I thought Dinza from Ground State in Season 4 (the spider looking demon) was truly scary.

The Kindertod was pretty creepy

and of course the Gentlemen.

The Gentlemen, hands down.

A close second and third are Der Kindestod and the Hänsel and Gretel demon from "Gingerbread". Can't think of any Angel villains at the moment, to be honest. :/

The Gentlemen scared the hell out of me, because they killed you with their smiling face while you scream with no sound.
Yiiks!

I also thought that the monster in Killed by death (Kindertot?) was very scary, with is eyes coming to you, eek!

And Balthazar was amazingly disgusting!

Oh, and the creepies would be Harmony!
Let's be honest...how creepy is a Barbie Vampire who takes you in hostage in her tunnel full of UNICORNS? That is the scariest death I could imagine :eek2:

lol about Harmony
That monster in "Reptile boy" wasn't nice on the eye either. I'd concur about the gentleman and i'd also throw in the Turok Hun. When you saw their army for the first time after Buffy's vision it scared the life out of me.

Angelus for me, the scene in Eternity is chilling, or in Passion looking through the window as they get the call that Jenny is dead.

totally agree about that looking through the window scene
Gnarl from Same Time, Same Place is a favorite of mine when it comes to creepiness.

I forgot about Gnarl. He's definitely one of the scariest.
The Gentlemen were just so creepy. One of the times Buffy really scared the crap outta me. The werewolf hunter guy (I forgot his name) wasn't exactly creepy but he was a standalone villan and I really didn't like him. I mean, if you can hate a fictional charcter, then I hated him.

The Gentlemen and Gnarl here too... Gnarl was just... well lets just say I do Not want to go that way...

The Gentlemen hands down. After I watched that episode they just stuck in my head for weeks. They were soooo creepy

Der Kindestod is the worse for me. It's when he goes pass the door which is fricking freaky. The Gentlemen are creepy too, I'm pretty sure 'hush' was the episode that made me watch BTVS. I'm sure I was just flicking and I just started watching and haven't looked back since and am hooked.

The Gentlemen I think . How they just float around with those huge creepy grins on their faces and then the little chant, oh and of course not being about to scream while they cut your heart out adds to their creeptacularness

The gentlemen always have that creepy factor.
I know he wasn't a villain but the Sid the dummy from the episode The puppet show ahhh those dolls scare the crap out of me. I was like people listen to Buffy he is moving!

For me, it was The Gentlemen for sure. I think those are the only "standalone" baddies to ever show up in my nightmares.

The Gnarl. I had to assume to fetal position during that episode. With the hiding in shadows... and the creepy voice... and the strips of skin...
Needless to say, he scared the hell out of me.

The Gentlemen were also very creepy and the chick from Out of Mind, Out of Sight. She was demented and you wanted to feel sorry for her, but then she was crazy... she just really creeped me out.

Der Kindestod takes the number one spot easily. Runners up include James from "I Only Have Eyes For You", Amy's mother, the Gentlemen, and Hansel and Gretel.

On Angel, probably Maude Pearson.
