My all-new, original internet series is underway.

It's a story about a guy named Christopher Cohen and his supernatural hunts in and around the fictional town of Shady Hill, California. Chris and his best friend, Jason Dean, have been hunting for a few years together. On one case, they stumble upon a plot to rid the world of humanity by a legion of demons who call themselves the "Twelve Demons of the Old". In raising Absalom, the big bad of the pilot, Chris has his throat slit...only to wake up hours later with no wounds at all. This begins a series of abilities that spring upon Chris. Chris stops the plans of the Summit, but it leaves him with the pain of loss. As Chris learns to deal with his new power of precognition, he searches for answers to why he has the abilities.

Influences include "Supernatural", "So Weird", and "Tru Calling". However, I must stress that the ideas, plots, characters, and overall story is totally original and is not meant to plagiarize any tv show.

For more information [and season 1 "credits"] check out the Crossed site.

Oh, and please get back to me with your opinions of the project. I'm currently working on fleshing out the pilot. It's kind of a work I'm doing for English class as my daily writing assignment, so I may not get a full episode out until June. But I'll be posting the Acts of the pilot spiradically until then. Act One [of six] should be up in the next few weeks.

Thanks,
Chris

It also sounds like you've got a few elements from "Highlander" there, too. Just be careful that you don't depend TOO much on ideas originated by other writers, and you can have a lot of fun with it.

It's not really ideas from other shows, just the general "supernatural" concept. You know, how they each put their own spin on the supernatural [save for Tru Calling, which i get the whole "i need to help you, but i can't without making you believe i'm psycho" plot]. I've actually panned out the plot of 8 seasons. The first five seasons are more of an arc, with the last 3 being a reaction arc to the resolution in the fifth season arc. But I'm not going to spoil anything. I would appreciate opinions and such when I get them up. I'll keep updating here.

Oh, and BTW, I haven't ever seen highlander. What's it about?

Coming from a person who's putting together an internet series of his own,I have to tip my hat off to you.

To answer your question about Highlander: It deals with Duncan MacLeod, who's an immortal and has to deal with other immortals who want to off him...and to do so,they face off in battles where the winner takes the loser's head and his/her power, experiences, etc. During the run of the series,Duncan had to deal with loss all over the place(loved and lost a couple of times, lost his best friend,etc.).

"Highlander" is about a group of Immortals who compete throughout the ages in one-on-one duals to the death, until only one remains. The final survivor will receive "the Quickening," which is the life essence of all of the Immortals who have gone before him. The original movie is a cult classic, and the series has probably as loyal a following as "Buffy," or "Star Trek." The original movie and its less than good sequels should be available at any large movie rental store, but the series you would probably have to buy.

Oh, well, I can tell you Chris is definitely no immortal. haha.

But thanks.
I only wish I had as much time as I would like in writing this series. But I'm tons busy. I'll definitely get the first act up soon, though. Then you can really give me your opinion. haha.

Edit:

By the way, I just realized that I ended that with the name "Chris". Chris is my pseudoname at OTHfans.com, and not my real name. It's actually John, or JC. So don't think I'm trying to live vicariously through my main man. Though, it would be cool to be a kick-ass hunter. haha.
