I know I'm super late...but I just saw the movie for the first time last week. SMG was awesome in it, loved the end...but overall I didn't like the movie, or the performances by the rest of the cast.

Personally I think it's been her best big screen performance so far, at least of the film roles I've seen her in and it's a nice taste of what she would have been like had she played Cordelia instead of Buffy.

SMG plays a very different role from Buffy and i understand she did it to prove her talent,that she can do other things well too!And she proved it cause she played Cathryn perfectly!!!Cathryn is a total bitch who uses sex as a weapon to get things!I liked the movie very much although sometimes i feel disturbed and sad when i watch it!i could never watch 2 or 3 cause i am sure they would destroy Cathryn...and the other characters as well...CI 1 is the best!

Also one of the best soundtracks EVER!!!

Love it. In fact, I own it. It's one of my guilty pleasures. Ryan Phillipe is gorgeous.

It's interesting to see SMG play such a manipulative, sexually-aggressive character.
