Curiosity Has Stricken...

Ok, I was just browsing the internet and... well... I found something rather weird, yet, it striked my curiosity. Has anybody seen anything lately or heard anything about a possible Angel spinoff for Illyria??
 
I heard that there was a possibility but that it wasn't very likely although there are a lot of virtual spin offs out there
 
Post some links though, and let's see how credible these rumours are.

At the rumour level I think the Illyria thing began when the WB was trying to create the illusion they wanted to do mini-series with the Angel characters. There might be something more recent, I don't know. Gotta link?

The Aly one...that's recent right? Wasn't she talking about how she was discussing the Spike idea with a friend and the friend thought it would be a great idea?
 
I think the Aly thing is regarding an interview over the phone with someone about the whole Veronica Mars thing. Found it:

I just talked to somebody today who was saying, ’Why don’t they do a Spike movie?’ That’s who they should do - forget Angel or Buffy! Do the James Marsters movie. That would be huge. I can't find the freaking thing. I thought it was in Watch with Kristin, but now I can't find it 🙁
 
one of my friends saw a trailer (obviously a fake) where illyria was fighting buffy. i asked him to send me the link but by then the trailer had been removed. shame really. i wouldve liked to have seen it!

Fake or not, I woulda liked to have seen that too!
It's an option for a poll at Online with Kristin. spike will win the poll though as i'm sure you know.
 
I would have loved to see that trailer too Wolf!! 🙁 It sucks that that was taken off. I think a Spike spin off would be better though.
 
I think an Illyria spin off would be interesting (of course).

But there isn't really that much support for Illyria. I'm not sure that a lot of viewers really got a chance to attract to her. I just like her because she's got so much potential~ she's kind of like Angel. She could go either way: evil and destory the world, or good and help the world. That kind of layering is really interesting and would provide a good storyline.

But I'm thinking that the prospects of a Buffy/Angel character movie or mini-series is probably next to impossible.
 
would be cool, but I haven't heard any new rumors personally.. the older rumors I remember as.. a Spike and Illyria spinoff... I would still love to see that. hehe.
