Does anyone out there know how to design and use your own font (for your own PC, not for distribution on the net) Do you need special software or something.
I would really like to create one as I sort of have a languge of my own. So it would be nice to see it on the PC instead of in My scribbly Handwriting...lol

Ive always wondered that too...

I thought it'd be cool to have a font thats my actual handwriting...lol...

Yeah, there are some kinda easy-to-use software to make your own fonts. Don't remember any names but I've seen some at bigger font sites.

Years ago I remember some company advertising that they would convert a sample of your handwriting into a font (which sounds similar to what you want) but I'm sorry to say that's all I can remember. I would've thought that, by now, there should be some sort of software that will do this for you.

For this search "convert handwriting to computer font" Google comes up with this GOOGLE RESULT which will give you some sites to look at...

Well, there's always the Fontifier. Download a template, fill it out with your own handwriting, scan the template and send it away and you get your own handwriting as a font. I haven't tried it, but I remember reading a blog where a guy wrote how happy he was with the results.

If they happen to suck, don't blame me. 😉
