Cutting Cast

Going from season 4 to 5, there were some major changes in the cast, Connor and Cordy got off aswell as Lilah and Spike aswell as Harm and Eve got on.

Are you happy with it? Cause I think Lorne, Wes and Gunn could easily be knocked off the cast aswell now, they have absolutly nothing to contribute to the story, and in fact, I'm getting doubts about the role of Spike, I think his story is pretty much told and he should just pack his bags and go.

What do you think, how would you change the cast? Do you also think that some characters have become useless? How would you cut the cast?
 
I'd ger rid of Spike definitely and add Harm in his place..I don't think so that Gunn is useless,I wanna see how his change gonna affect the show...
 
Well maybe Gunn can get the benefit of the doubt, but with all the euphory of Spike's return faded and the big battle fought, I don't see what his place is on the show, except maybe bugging Angel.
 
I'd get rid of Wes and bring back somebody bad--who's also kind of hot. Dru or Lilah maybe.

I like the cast, now that Connor's out. And since there aren't going to be any more Buffy cast members appearing this season...
 
I think Andrew could spice things up more then Spike, I like him more then Spike, but I dunno. My dream team is Angel, Harm and Fred!
 
CUT: Spike & Gunn, need to give Eve a chance.
BRING IN: Cordelia & Lilah & Harmony.

The gang would consist of Angel, Fred, Wes, Lorne, Lilah, Harmony & Cordelia.
 
I wouldve kept Lilah, she has been there since Season1, kept Cordy bring her back to her bitch fame, keep Wes, Gunn,Lorne, and Fred.

Because I find it pretty bad that Angel is the only orignal cast member left on the show.
 
CUT: Eve and Wes (I love him, but he's never involved in the episodes)
BRING BACK: Lilah and Cordy
KEEP: Lorne (seems to be regularly featured), Harm and Gunn (is more involved, in a good way)

keep-spike,angel wes and lorne
bring back-conner, lilah, doyle, cordy
fred is basically useless she is annoying and has nothin to do
and conner is hot!
 
Get rid of-No-one.
Bring back-Cordy and Lilah. Dru would be an added bonus as well
Keep-Everyone. Especially Eve. Eye candy and IMO is gonna be important.
 
Cut: Eve and Harmony

Keep: Angel, Fred, Gunn, Spike, Lorne and Wesley, Lindsey

Bring back: Lilah

Add: A street-smart guy/girl, who can help Angel Inc. with the news from the streets (a bit like Gunn back in season 1-2).. Maybe Gwen????

Change: Gunn (maybe he could change to "street-Gunn" once again)....
Angel (He is just boring this season. Dosent do much.).

From Angel, yes, but Harmony has been in the verse since the first episode of Buffy.
 
CUT: Gunn and Lorne
(The way to do this is quite simple, Gunn turns evil, I mean big bad evil at the end of the season and kills Lorne. Gunn runs off and appears as a recurring character/bad guy from time to time)
ADD: Andrew and Gwen
Move to Mainstay Cast: Harmony (from rumors this should be happening anyways
Keep: Angel, Wes (Wes is Angel's Willow, no chance in losing him)Fred, Spike (Spike=Ratings)

So that leaves a cast of Angel, Wes, FredSpike, Harmony, Andrew, and Gwen. Maybe too many characters, but the new blood might bring in some new viewers. But to make the change more believalbe, I would make sure everyone has a role in Wolfram and Hart. Wes wouldbe Angel's second in command and his overall support and I would FOCUS on thatAlso I would heat things up between Fred and Wes. Andrew would work as Wes's research Assistant. Harm would stay as secretary, but have her get more involved. Spike and Gwenwould be theheading up afield team of sorts, you know the guys who get physical with the evil. And this way you could have a weird Harmony, Spike, Gwen lust triangle
