nerd4hire: Your'e absolutely right. This is part of what makes the episode so great for me (aside from random greatness anyway), but it's still bothering me. It feels like one of thoes things that will never be answered....

About Joyce being the first, I'm willing to accept this, but then what was the other thing there? And if Joyce was the first, then it would only make sence that the other thing was trying to help Dawn, to get her away form the first, right?

I dont really know mabye im still not quite sure about that. i think that its a possibility that it was trying to help Dawn get away from the FIRST but it could also just be one of the scare tactics that the FIRST was using to try and scare Dawn into believeing that it really was her Mum im not quite sure.
 
I entertained this for a moment also, but then i remembered (as nerd4hire has also pointed out) that the first cannot take corporeal form, or in other words, touch things. Whatever was there not only messed up the house, but also took a swipe at Dawn, meening that there had to be Something else in the house.

I loved the Willow scenes. At the end when she realizes Cassie is trying to get her to kill herself - Loved it. That whole scene.
"'From beneath you, it devours'"
"Oh not 'it' - Me"

*Then Cassie devours herself*

Very cool.
 
I think Michelle did an awesome job on this ep. Her scenes freaked me out, and were also pretty funny. Willows scene was great too, it made me cry.
 
Hmm, it was a hard one.
Tho I'm a huge Willow fan, I picked Buffy one, because the talk with the vampire was so very interesting & funny meanwhile.

Aly did a great job with her talking to Tara, it was very moving & she layed it so well. We coud see how much she missed Tara.

I totally disliked Dawn part, like she was crying like & lil girl & she pissed me off. Lol, I never liked Dawn. But ok, for this time she kinda show a bit of courage, so maybe that the lil good point in it. (I still dislike Dawn!)
 
I really liked Dawn in this episode... i first didn't like her but in season 7 she was really cool 😉

This order I think:
Dawn
Willow
Buffy

I think Buffys was kinda weird..
 
I thought the scenes with Buffy were the best, they had more humour to them, but they were still serious.

I enjoyed Willow's scene's with Cassie even though it would have been better if it had been Tara. Dawn was really great in this episode as well, but my favourite scenes were still the Buffy ones.
 
The Buffy scenes were soooo boring to me, and the Willow one, that wasnt exactly that interesting, I just wanted to keep watching the Dawn scenes...they were the best...I love a good haunting...
