D&D and other RPG's

So, I just wanted to see how many D&D'ers and/or RPG'ers we have on the boards. I'm a really big nerd. Right now, I do a weekly Star Wars rpg at my house and an online MUD. Its awesome. Everyone who loves D&D will have to play it.
 
I play RPGs...have done so for years. I used to play alot of Vampire, etc. Anyhow, I am currently running a game. It's called Tempus Investigations. The concept was based on the idea of Angel, but none of the characters are the same...it takes place in San Francisco, and the basic idea is a supernatural detective agency. The characters include a highlander (immortal), a mage, a catholic priest, a former IRA member (now journalist), a werecat, and a cute human secretary.
 
I tryed to play D&D once, but I bore easily and it just took to long. But I love the Final Fantasy RPG's for the Playstation. The only Online one I have played was Final Fantasy 11, which was good for a while but I got so bored with it after a while.

One I have always wanted to play was City of Heroes, I think that looks like so much fun!!
 
I was talking rpg's as in story-like ones...but I guess we can talk about video games too...😀

That sounds awesome. We're still doing a Star Wars one here....we've got an ewok sniper...lol...its really funny.

Sounds fun🙂 I personally like the story based games...I don't go in much for the computer stuff (though I used to play online story telling games back in the day-on white wolf forums. Its been years though...but I never got into the whole video game thing). Anyhow, good to know there are fellow RPGers about. I would LOVE to play a buffy game someday, but I don't know if my current gaming group would be up for it. Alas....
 
I'm just waiting on the money to buy the Firefly rpg book. I can't wait for that. Its gonna be awesome!
 
I saw the book in a gaming store in May (when I was in the USA). It looked pretty interesting....Firefly would definetly be a great setting for a scenario. There are so many open possibilites within the world!
 
My boyfriend is RPG obsessive. D&D, Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms, whatever you can think of, he's into it, I swear to God.

He bought the Serenity RPG book a couple months ago and is putting a game together, of which I am participating in. It's really not my bag, but who can resist is making a hot Fireflyverse chick? Not me, says I.

I know I'm gonna be screaming at him. "I WANT TO SHOOT HIM. WHY CAN'T I SHOOT HIM?! SCREW THE DICE, PHIL. LEMME SHOOT 'IM!"
 
I play D&D, I need to find a new group though. I've played Exalted, Serenity, Abarrant, and Vampire.
 
Hmmm...I've played a LOT of things in my time. I have run many vampire campaigns, but now, as I said, the game I'm running is of my own design. I have played GURPS, too (and I also think its complicated!), DND, werewolf, changling, exalted, vampire, call of cthulu, etc. I still say that my favorite is vampire. I don't really care for exalted, but that could be because I had a couple TERRIBLE gms when I played it...and that can make all the difference!

Try the http:/www.hollowgame.com that I suggested a few posts ago...and if that doesn't work, my brothers, myself and some friends are starting an online DND...it on a special server with dice like effects...we are looking for more people...we need atleast one more.
