Hey, not sure if I should be posting in here, but I just saw something that I thought I'd let Bangel fans know about.

Now this guy gives the feeling of someone tapping into the cutesy vampire lore like Twilight, perhaps even that he's exploiting a fantasy (market?) more than his own story or personal fantasy. (And though he broods, he doesn't come anywhere close to Angel's level of brooding. 😛 ) That's just an immediate observation, not a criticism, and it's not important. What I wanted to share is something that might be enjoyed by Bangel fans, no matter how unintended by the artist it was.

I think it's how he looks...he's not that far off from Angel where he first shows up in season 1 Buffy (where he looks a lot younger than even in season 2), and I'm certain I've seen comic portrayals (not of season 8 on) of Angel looking a lot like that. In those comics Angel looks young but not youthful, a timeless quality about him that reflects a man who was killed and turned at a fairly young age (as opposed to how he looks by the actor who was aging a bit too fast to play a young-looking vampire). And perhaps that's why the lyrics made me think of Angel silently watching Buffy from the shadows, that is from even before Buffy ever saw him for the first time.

I bet it could be a good song to set Bangel to in Buffy season 3 and earlier (with lots of season 1 and 2). Anyway, here it is:

Looks a lot like Angel in Buffy season 1.

I enjoyed watching this and I think the lyrics really fit with Bangel. Thank You for posting it.

I found the old comic of thinking of, Strange Bedfellows. The specific image ("Angel looks young but not youthful, a timeless quality about him that reflects a man who was killed and turned at a fairly young age") that came to mind was in the Changeling Wife, and I was even able to find the image online!
