Dangerous town--Sunnydale

In the very first outdoors school scene, we see a bunch of cars and buses going in the wrong direction (based on the "one way" sign posted behind the bus)
If the vampires and monsters don't get you, then the horrible drivers probably will!

Oh what the heck. I'll play. Pick one you like.

1. It's the first day of school. Things are chaotic.

2. Drivers often do drive against one way signs in school parking lots. I know I have.

3. It's a metaphorical comment of some sort like going up the down staircase.

4. The workers who prepared the parking lot for the scene missed that sign.

5. Sunnydale drivers don't worry about stuff like one way signs because - wait for it -

In case you haven't noticed, the police of Sunnydale are deeply stupid.
