Has ANYONE read it yet? I want it solely because it is Christopher Golden having a take on Buffy season eight. Nancy Holder is a great author and I really enjoyed Queen of the Slayers, but in every one of her books it's Buffy's biggest battle. And she had a kid at the end of QotS. (Kinda anyway. Either way, I didn't enjoy that plot.)
So, with that being said, reccomend or kick it people! No matter what, just start the discussion! 😛

I love Queen of the slayers, even though that happens, and it isn't actually her child, since no one else can see it =/ But anywho, I'm finishing the Wicca Series [Nothing to do with Buffy, but still great books 😛] Then I'm starting on it. So I should be reading it not long after christmas.
Okay I don't want to sound angry lol but after I read the first three chapters, that's all i have read so far. First the whole all of a sudden Kennedy does a complete 180 and cheats on Willow... that came from left field... Then Oz, now I'm thinking aww YES!! I LOVE OZ! Then he's all cheking out some other girl, 🙁 But still I'm in the omg I love oz boat. Just the fact he's in the book is great. But since he's in it I'm like ooo willow kissage!! she is broken with Kennedy :s which I found stupid, but if it gets them together...but NO! then some weird old lady gives willow a spell and presto Tara's back! like.. left field again. Me still bitter about the character I hate coming alive and the character I love still being dead. I'm all noooooooo nooooooooo It can't be!! 'warren were are you! come quick' 😛 see I overreact, but still I was upset. Well that's me after the first three chapters, more to come I'm sure, but Tara can't be alive!! she just can't :cry: love Amber, hate Tara, strange..no. Atleast Xander and his arch-nemesis the vegetable went at it :lmao:

I haven't read this book yet, but I saw it at the bookstore and I must say it looked freaking awesome, and I want to read it ASAP. Damn me having no money!
I just finished it! I can safely say I loved it. There were quite a few 'omg really...' moments, other then that it was okay. A little too much Tara for my likeing but I did love the Faith/Oz moments. The Dark Congress seemed to be something that I wished!! was the main point of the story and we would see what they argued , and fought about but we spend basically no time there which was a big 'omg really moment.' I didn't like that at all. But the rest of the story fell together, and I liked the ending.
I found the underlying storyline a bit hard to follow, with the 2 demons who were in love and wanted to organize a meeting called the dark congress. I just couldn't really follow what was happening with that.
I felt so angry though, with Kennedy and what she did to Willow, I always thought that Kennedy wasn't taking her relationship with Willow seriously :-( But the resurrection of Tara was so cool, until she had to go :-( I didn't really catch on to the exact reason why either, what I picked up on was that the spell that Catherine gave to Willow to perform was protected, but all magics have a price when performed? I'm just a bit hazy on that bit, can anyone help clear my mind 😛
