Tara walks into the magic shop and could tell there was a cloud hanging over it no literally there was a dark cloud over the shop.
Anya and Dawn are arguing in a corner over a book Xander just kept looking up at the cloud.
Xander: You know a kite with a key is tempting right about now.
Tara: What's going on here?
Xander: El Willow decided to bring the storm inside today.
Tara: Willow. I thought we warned her about the magics?
Xander: Well to be fair she was just working on a tracking spell for Buffy and it sorta went haywire"¦and I'm not helping am I?
Tara: *sighs* You guys how are we going to get her off magic if you keep asking her to help solve one of Buffy's problems of the week.. Tara grabs her stuff and walks out the door...
Xander: May god strike me down I had nothing to do with this I swear. A small bolt of lightning zaps the chair beside Xander. Gah!
Dawn: We can use her help guys. I will get her back.
Dawn chases Tara down...
Dawn: Tara wait up please"¦
Tara: Swings around. What?
Dawn: What is it? Something's really bugging you today?

Dawn: Ok so Willow messed up...
Tara: No Willow I miss her so much Dawny it hurts that we don't share the same bed anymore. I can't sleep at night.

Tara: Wipes away tears starting to form. Look right now we can't be together not until she sees what she is doing is wrong and the others help her see that to.
Dawn: I get that I really do but Tara look at what we do here half the stuff we face is mystical based there is no way we can do this without magic.
Tara: No your right even I use magic"¦So you came out here because you need my help back at the shop right?
Dawn: Yeah Willow and Buffy took off and left us to figure out that whole cloud thing.
Tara: Alright I will help but I need something from my dorm first I will be back in a while.
Tara opens the front door to the shop the cloud still hanging over head
Tara holds out something and chants energies start flowing into the ball including the cloud
Xander: Hey Tara nice going, thanks for the asset.
Tara: Alright I have to get to class...tell Buffy I said hi.
A few hours later Buffy and Willow show back up
Buffy: Oh cool, no more cloudy thing overhead.
Willow: Yeah sorry about that.
Xander: Yeah Tara stopped by and after the much need butt chewing and remove it.
Willow: Tara did this?
Buffy: Well she is good with the magic to Will.
Willow: Oh yeah I know I just wish I could have been here to see her"¦
Buffy: Ouch that bad huh?
Willow: Very much so"¦
Xander: What?
Buffy Willow: Oh nothing...
Xander: Willow are you using you're inside voice? Cos I feel I'm missing a piece of the conversation here.
Anya: Its ok dear one day I will explain it to you"¦
Buffy: Anyway our hunt was bust whatever is burning down trees is not out there now.
Willow: Yeah the odd part is I dint feel any mystical energies come from the burnt trees I'm not sure what we are facing yet.
Warren: Well the flame throwers work I would say test successful. I say we take it up a notch
Jonathan: Are we sure about this?
Warren: Relax I worked on the guidance systems all night its perfect.
Andrew: What should we test it on?
Warren: I say skip the rest of the small test and go for the big one Buffy... more importantly that magic shop of theirs take away their toys with one of our own toys.
Just then a small flying robot lifts off the ground and hovers
Warren: Target Magic shop"¦burn it to the ground"¦
The robot flies off the Trio race for the van and monitor the robot
Buffy and the rest of the gang are knee deep in research when the robot crashes though the window
Dawn: Some kids toy?
Buffy: I don't think so"¦Dawn get down!
The robot flamethrowers activate and start setting things on fire
Xander: Fire bad!
Buffy: That's my line Xand! As she jumps over the table and tries to grab the robot but it flies just out of reach!
Willow: tries to move a heavy statue with her mind to strike the robot but it does not budge. What?
Anya: Shows up with a fire extinguisher and starts fighting small fires
Willow: spots some protection crystals and toss them to Buffy. Buffy place these around it
Buffy acts quickly with the crystals
Buffy: Willow go!
Willow: Chants but the crystals power does not activate Buffy it's not working! Willow tries again
Buffy: Try something else! Buffy pulls out a ax but can't get near the robot
Willow: Steps right into the path of the robot and chants and the robot flame though sets her jacket on fire.
Buffy: Willow!! Buffy runs over to Willow and rips the jacket right off her Anya blast it and part of Willow with the fire extinguisher.
Xander: Runs out of the back room and runs up the steps to the upper level
Buffy: Sees this and causes a distraction. Now! Xand!
Xander: Leaps off the second level and brings an ax down on the robot he hits something. And he hits the table breaking it and his fall. And the small robot flies erratically before exploding in a ball of flame some of the flaming bits land on Xander and Anya hits him with the almost empty extinguisher.
Buffy: Xander! She runs to him as he tries to pick himself up out of the ruined table holding his arm
Xander: I'm good Ow.
Willow: Runs over to him Xander I'm so sorry but nothing I tried worked I should have been able to stop that thing with magic or the crystals it dint work.
Buffy: Willow your arm.
Willow: Looks at a burn on her arm. She waves her hand over the area trying to heal the burn but nothing happens...What's going on? Willow tries a few spells but nothing works she tries a few of the more powerful objects in the shop but nothing works.
Anya: All the magics gone"¦none of it is working"¦
Willow: Runs outside and cast a growth spell on a plant it grows slightly"¦Oh look magic.
Anya: Runs out with the protection crystals. And Willow tries to use them but they don't work.
Willow: Turns to Buffy"¦the Magic shops been magically drained"¦No magic in it at all.
Xander: Hey guys there not much left of that robot thing still holding his arm.
Willow: Walks over to Xander and places her hand on his arm and it heals. Willow waves her hand over the burn and it heels.
Buffy: What can drain the shop of magic like that?
Xander: That cloud earlier maybe...
Anya: Not the cloud Tara"¦ She had something and the cloud went whoosh into the thing she had in her hand.
Willow: Tara did this? She begins to walk off.
Buffy: Crap...Willow wait!
Buffy: Stops in front of her. What are you going to do?

Tara: Is sitting on her bed reading when the door flies open and Willow strolls in we need to talk.
Tara: Sits up in bed and sees Willows burnt shirt. Willow my god what happened?
Willow: Funny thing I'm in the magic shop going over the books trying to help my friends out when this crazed robot thing attacks us I tried to help my friends and when nothing happens me and Xander end up hurt"¦ Why did my magic not help my friends Tara?
Tara: Willow I'm s.sorry I never m. meant for anyone to get hurt I just wanted you to stop with the magic using it this much it's going to consume you.
Willow: Tara you're not allowed to come near me and my friends again you could of gotten one of us killed today. My magic is for me to decide how to use and most it is used to help Buffy. You can't decide that for me! Willow spins and heads out the door.
Tara: Willow wait! Tara grabs Willow's sore arm. Willow spins and magically pushes Tara away. Tara slams into her bookshelf the a small object drops from her hand and rolls across the floor and stops by Willow's boot Willow picks it up and walks out the door with it leaving Tara there.
Willow ends up back at the shop and stands at the door with the object in her palm
Willow: Return. The magic flows out of the object back into the shop and the object fades away
Buffy walks up to Willow
Buffy: What did you do?
Willow: Tara will no longer be allowed here again she...could have hurt one of us bad today"¦Tara she...Willow breaks down and cry's on Buffy shoulder
Buffy: Come on let's get you home.
Tara: Slowly gets up where she was on the floor and looks at the mess she reaches down and picks up a picture of her and her mom. She puts it down and pulls out a locked box from under her bed she pulls it in front of her and breaks the lock magically. I'm sorry mom I swore I would never let what happen to you happen to anyone else Tara opens the box and there inside are two crystals Tara pulls them out and holds them in each hand
Tara: Willow you need to see just what magic can do to a person Tara holds the crystals high over her head and smashes them together they shatter in a huge shower of light and dust Tara falls back on the floor
Willow and Buffy sit on Willows bed at the Summers home
Willow: Oh Buffy I dint mean to hurt her I should apologize to her she just grabbed my sore arm and I reacted
Buffy: Let me talk to her let's see if we can reach some sort of compromise work this out I'm sure we can work this out Tara is a understanding person.
The window rips right out of the wall and Tara floats in
Dark Tara: She was the time for understanding is long over.
Willow: Tara? What's going on?
Dark Tara: You like the look? How about this one Tara's appearance changed or this one it changes again the skirt and slim shirt showing more and more skin. Now this is freedom
Buffy: Gets off the bed Tara look willow is sorry for what happened today I was just on my way to see you.
Dark Tara: Where you? That's nice. Tara flicks her finger and Buffy flies out the hole in the wall and slams into the backyard fence. Now why don't you go see Tara now?
Willow: Tara what's gotten into you?
Dark Tara: Oh lots of things. Things that would make even Buffy blush.
Willow: Tears start to form. That's not what I meant this is too much of power for you.
Dark Tara: No weeping Willow it's not enough. Buffy runs back upstairs Tara flicks her hand and the floor disappear from under Buffy and Buffy falls all the way to the basement.
Willow: Please this is not like you baby"¦
Dark Tara: Mocks Willow Please baby"¦Now you begging for it?
Dark Tara: Tell you what I will give it to you. Dark Tara invades Willows mind. Tell me your safe word and I will stop"¦Wait you dint give me a safe word did you?
Willow: Falls back on the bed curling up in a ball. S.s.stop oh god please! Not this!!
Dark Tara: Pulls Willow towards her. Aw aren't you having fun?
Willow: Repel! Willow flies away from Dark Tara and lands on the floor.
Dark Tara: Oh good the twig is going to fight. Come on red show me.
Willow: her eyes go dark and she smashes her hands on the floor and the pipes under the floor rip up and strike Tara hitting her outside though the hole. Willow walks to the edge of the hole and leaps after Tara.
Dark Tara: Oh kitties got claws now. Tara lifts her hand and smacks Willow with a backhand. Willow hits the ground hard. You know what made me this way"¦No no don't get up! And Dark Tara steeps on Willow head as she tries to rise"¦ I was not though talking. You made me this way"¦ Magic made me this way. Tara just wanted to show you what magic would be like if you kept using it that's the sad part her intentions where good.
Willow: You're still her you're still my TARA! Willow pushes up and gets some distance. And I will get her back
Dark Tara: No not this time. There is no redemption like I said her intentions where good but I'm free now and there's no way that meek little bitch comes back.
Buffy hits Dark Tara over the head with a shovel Dark Tara goes down
Buffy: I would like to test that theory.
Willow: Buffy! Don't hurt her Tara is trapped in there. I can save her.
Buffy: How Willow?
Willow: Tara she gave me the clues. Willow runs over and puts Tara's head in her lap Willow places her fingers on Tara's head and both Willow and Tara glow Tara's body rises off the ground and the fragments of the crystals leave Tara's body and reform floating above Tara's body. Willow grabs them out of the air and a box floats out of the house Willow places the crystals in it.
Tara's body appearance returns to normal as she lies there
Buffy: What happens now?
Willow: We forget.
Buffy: What?
Willow: Forget. And the world washes to white"¦
The next day everyone is at the shop.
Willow: Xander can you please not use Magics for beginners as a foot rest?
Tara: Use this. And hands him Magic for dummies instead.
Xander: Much better.
Buffy: Huh and holds out a paper: Police say arson was the cause of some trees being set on fire by teen pranksters says here they have to plant new trees every year now for five years.
Willow: Looks like the punishment fit the crime this time.
Tara: Look Will I hope to see you again later but I have to go"¦
Willow: Oh I understand thanks for stopping by.
Tara walks out the door.
Willow: It was nice of her to stop by.
Buffy: Still with the separation huh?
Willow: Yeah but it's nice we are talking again.
Anya: Huh did any else notice that this fire extinguisher is out that is very dangerous"¦
