Dark Willow....Does She Really Have the Power?

Okay I was watching Villians last night and something caught my attention, when Willow said one down and disappeared in the flash of lightening and such, and then in Two to Go Anya was commenting that a witch at her level would be flying and it's flashy and impresses the locals but it takes longer than teleporting. My question about that is Anya made it sound like Willow isn't a strong enough witch to teleport, but I mean how powerful does she have to be, because apparently she was powerful enough to call some dark energy to have the world destroyed.
 
Heh, yeah that is a good point. But I guess for plot reasons they needed Anya to get there before Willow could.. maybe it's plausible that Willow's power was still growing and she didn't realize what she could do until later on... and I think Giles' magic helped her to be strong enough to end the world.. as also said by Anya.

I have seem this question several times on several sites, I've always wondered about the question.
The only reason I can see that Anya got to the two magic midgets before Willow, is that she knew where to go. We had just seen Willow, for want of a better description use an advanced form of astral projection, disappear. Anya had previously said that she knew or she could feel where Willow was, so was she deliberately misleading Buffy, or was it just another 'oh, must be because we live on a hellmouth, thing'.
 
Or maybe Willow just chose not to teleport. Think about when Willow, Buffy and Dawn are at Rack's and then as they are talking, Willow transfers all three of them to the Magic Box very easily. You would think that would take an extreme amount of power.
 
^ yeah i agree. also with the flashy dramatic effect. like buffy said in the car, 'willow doesnt want you dead. she wants to kill you'.. i think willow was just drawing it out like a game.. enjoying what she could do.

And even that i kind of don't get cause I mean Jonathon was saying that couldn't she just wave her hand and make them dead, I mean if it's her magick that's making them dead she is basically killing them just like it was her magick that waved her hand and ripped Warren's skin off and made him burn to a crisp

Yes it was her magick that "killed" Warren, she was right there she saw the terror on his face, and got to do things like put a bullet into him, thats what she wanted to do to J&A, murder them not just kill them.

I think it would have been something if she could have destroyed the world on her own without "calling some dark energy".
 
I'm glad she didn't destroy the world, imagine the camera-man's problems with keeping the camera steady. And how would the 'after shots' have been done ?, and where from ?, oops ! there goes season 7.
For another thing.....Calling some dark energy would only take knowledge, no power needed.
