Did you ever wonder if the "big bad" from each season would have beaten Dark Willow in a one-on-one? Or would she have "every square inch of their a** kicked"?

Well, I think the first could have beat her cuz it could've impersonated Tara and that would've broken her down.

I think Willow could've beaten everyone else except for maybe Jasmine on Angel.

No, she could've beaten Jasmine too. I mean, come on, she had like zero power. The only thing she really had going for her was her glamour thing she had on people and her super strength. And that wouldn't have stopped Dark Willow.

Not to mention about the First... if it could've impersonated Tara, don't you think it would have in Conversations With Dead People?

I honestly think Willow is one of the strongest people what she was capable of was far more powerful than some of the "most" powerful characters. I think Dark Willow could have taken a majority of the big bad.

Haven't thought of Dark Willow specifically, but yes, between 2 big bads.
I don't think Willow is the strongest though. Even if we ignore the fact that she has more emotions than any other big bad, which what would have led to her fall (and sort of did).

No. Because they couldn't get Amber Benson to return as the First. It impersonated everyone else who had died.

But why, IN THE SHOW, didn't the First impersonate her? That would've done the most damage to Willow. Why didn't it? Why COULDN'T it?

Seeing as how they really tried to get Amber Benson but she didn't want to guest star as The First, there's really no logical explanation for it.

If you ask me, Amber's reason isn't logical either. I don't get her choice not to come back as the First just because it's an evil character. I really don't.

I guess the First thought Willow would be more receptive to the idea of communicating with Tara if she couldn't see her. Kind of let her imagination do some of the work for it. Like maybe it thought Willow knew Tara so well that she might get suspicious if she was talking to The First Tara (although in her Dark Willow guise I don't think she would know the difference). It's definitely a plot hole.

Doesn't make sense to me. She's an actress. And she should know that characters shift. They can be evil sometimes, and they can be a clown with brown feet and a carrot nose sometimes. I really don't see it as a logical reason.

I like to think that Tara was so good and pure that her image couldn't be corrupted by the First.

I certainly hope so. I adore her as Tara.
