Who do you think would win in an all out battle? I think it would be Dark Willow, because she was a hell of a lot more powerful then she was when Glory was alive of course. But then again Willow is still only mortal and Glory is a God. So really I don't know, but what do you think?

you're just making lots of cool threads!
i think dark willow would've won. she hurt Glory when she was still developing her powers, plus she could make herself as physically strong as Glory as she did with Buffy. plus, she could prbably magically turn Glory into Ben and then kill him.

Glory. Because at the end of the day, Evil Willow's powers emanated from her grief, sorrow, grudge and hatred. Glory is a God and beyond from these feelings. Remember that Dark Willow is 'defeated' to Xander. What broke her down was love, caress and a little bit manipulation.

Yeah but Dark Willow isn't going to love Xander, and you must also remember that Xander's love wouldn't have worked had she not absorbed the good magick from Giles that made her susceptible to humanity.

Yeah, but, again, Glory is immune to that kind of "susceptiblility to humanity" kind of magic. She is a God and has her own agenda. Evil Willow's agenda is drawn because of the lost (Tara) and the hatred (Warren). She is more vulnerable, or to put it more accurately, is vulnarable. Glory is not.

Yeah but you must also remember that when Dark Willow was bleeding and hurt all she did was wave her hand and all the bruises and stuff went away. And also Giles told Anya to tell Buffy that no supernatural force could stop her, and Glory would be considered supernatural right?

How did Xander manage to stop her then? Or even, how did Giles manage to find out a magic (which is also a supernatural element) to perform on Dark Willow? That couldn't be found in Glory's case, Buffy had to sacrifice herself, but even it was a risk, for Buffy's sacrifice worked because she and Dawn had a blood tie (which was created by the monks) if not this blood tie had existed, Glory would not have been stopped.

Again, Xander was able to get to Willow because Giles had Willow absorb some good magick from him, which opened herself up to humanity. And it didn't have to be Xander but he's the one that got to her first, as Giles was trying to get to her too, but he was too weak. It was love that got to Willow due to Giles' good magick. Because even if she absorbed the good magick and nobody got to her through her heart then she would have still destroyed the world.

Again, Xander's getting through Dark Willow, Giles's performing magic to her were not even an issue if it was Glory that they were dealing. Glory was 'defeated' because luckily enough monks created a blood tie between Dawn and Buffy and Joyce. Joyce died. That left Buffy sharing the only one having a blood tie with Dawn so she closed the gate by sacrificing herself and thus Glory was defeated. It took the slayer to die to defeat Glory, it took a spell and a hug to defeat Dark Willow.

lol. I'm going to say Dark Willow for sure. Glory's power inside a human body was not at it's full, so when I think about it Dark Willow would defeat her without too much issue.
And I agree with both of your points, but I think Willow let Xander in. Her giving in to her emotions was voluntary on most levels (to me anyway).

Well no actually it took Buffy sacrificing herself to stop the portal but that didn't defeat Glory. It took Giles killing Ben to defeat Glory. And also with Willow being so powerful she could easily reverse the magick and changed Glory into Ben and kill Ben, or even suck whatever energy inside Glory into herself

I think it would only be interesting of Glory was at full God-like mode 😛

I think this depends on a variable or two! Glory was from another plain of existance and co-habitating in Ben's body, so if she was in her own dimension she would have had more power than what we saw of her and probably been able to squash Willow like a bug. When Glory was in this dimension she was not as powerful and the only real power we saw was super-strength, so I think Dark Willow could definetaly take her.

Dark Willow was arguably less powerful than before her "Giles boost", consequence of the Giles Boost, was also the reconnection with empathy and feeling that led to Xander being able to 'defeat' her.

If we're using Darth Willow the destroyer mode, pre-Giles coven boost, she'd still fall to Glory, because the main thing would be would Willow run outta juice before Glory went completely bonkers?

Unfortunately we also have no idea on whether or not Glory would be able to further corrupt or draw power from dark energies, as the stuff Willow used on her wasn't really the full on black magics she used when she became the big bad.

Dark Willow would just use a barrier spell to keep Glory at bay until she turned into Ben and just kill him on the spot. Easeh, easeh!

I honestly have no idea would win. I think they'd probably be quite evenly matched, but man that would be a fight I'd like to see 😛
