If you go to the comicscontinuum website they have january darkhorse releases and buffy's #10 cover. I can't post the link since i don't have 15 posts yet 🙁

Can someone else do it? It's also linked through whedonesque if you just want to check it there.

I think it's freaking awesome!
 
It seems like every time Jo Chen comes out with a cover it's better than the last one, and the first one blew my mind.

This month (January, I think) will be one you don't want to be stuck with the variant cover. Here's what's supposed to be the variant cover

The girl in the middle is some girl who won a Dark Horse contest to be written into the script.
 
I LOVE buffy's "holy crap" face. i think thats what really won me over. but willow looks absolutely beautiful.
 
The cover is very nice but I don't like the whole Willow can fly think. I prefer teleportation. Flying seems even more fairytale like then the world Buffy lives in. But the art is very nice.
If the second one is the variant, blah!
 
Weird I thought the variant was beautiful, love the Chen also.. but yeah I want both. How is Willow looking so peacfull with Buffy grasping around her neck 😛 Think my favourite is the #3 cover still... but #6 and #10 rock.
 
i think the cover is sweet lookin.

i cant believe noone has asked the questions: where is willow flying to and why is buffy on her back?

I absolutely ADORE this cover, for some reason it reminds me of Hayao Miyazaki films, and I'm not too sure but rumours say the next arc takes place in Tokyo so it might be some sort of homage to Japanese animation...anyone else think so? also Jo really managed to capture Buffy and Willow's real expressions, flawless.
Oh yeah isnt this meant to be the issue where Tara makes some sort of appearance, I hope so.

I think that's Issue #12 + (Tokyo arc)
Issue10 and 11 are Joss stand alones as far as I know.
Doesn't look gay to me... looks like flying and Buffy hanging on for her life. Not that there's anything wrong with some gay flying 😛
 
That has to be the worst Buffy season 8 cover so far =|

And what makes you all think Willow is flying? She's clearly just free falling

Willow was always able to fly ever since she went evil in Season Six and Anya even said she wasn't able to teleport. Maybe she can teleport now since she's a hell out a lot stronger than she was in Season Six, but why teleport when you can fly unless of course you're extremely late somewhere. But I mean since we're entering into the world of comics I personally love the whole power boost that Willow is getting. I do believe if we were still in the tv show Willow wouldn't be as powerful as she is now, because they can do a lot more in the comics. Just like how Buffy got a power boost when she was dodging bullets. She couldn't do that before
