I think so, especially during their arc on Angel, I mean you got to see them together. I think so and I think it is a good pairing.

So, they were definitely involved in a threesome (with the Immortal, which was made canon by the flashback in TGIQ), and there were definite sexual undertones, such as when Darla said: "Come on, Dru. Let's have a bath so the boys can weep in private."
"Will you hold me under the water?" "If you wish." in TGIQ. 😀

I thought the 'ship was really sweet, them two girls just hangin' out and havin' fun, like in Reunion. 😀
