Darla and Her Daughters
(Revisited, revamped (pun intended) and made new).
Originally from one of my first pieces of Fan Fiction, written February 9th 2008 on page 20

Happy that her travels had almost finished for a while, a heavily pregnant Darla was on the last portion of her travels to the town of Totenes. The ship’s captain told her a passport was not necessary, but she was fed up with his lies his silly advances, really fed up with his cautious attempts to bed her. So she killed him, she wondered what the new captain would taste like.

Sat in her room, during one of the long moments of boredom, she had memories of Angelus trying to be nice to her. Then she remembered the other dreams of throwing Angel into a pit of wood then walking away from it smiling while the silly schoolgirls threw dead matches at him. Oh how she smiled. Sitting at the stone cross in what the towns people called a the town square.

Darla was befriended by Rale, another vampire, she offered to let Darla stay with her in the country village of Cornworthy. After two and a half years of being pregnant Darla succumbed to the imminent pressures of childbirth. A local who was going home late one evening saw Darla collapse in the garden, not being able to find a pulse she called an ambulance.

After Darla had been on the ward for six minutes, she convinced the other women not to annoy her. A low growl worked wonders, in the morning she got the same respect from the nurses. One bright and happy nurse said she wanted to see the happy smiles of the women and opened a
window blind. Darla politely asked the nurse not to open the next window blind.

The nurse decided to carry on with what she was doing, until Darla let loose with a barrage of insults culminating in telling the nurse that she'd rip her throat out and drink her dry. The nurse quickly closed the window blind. She did however suggest to Darla that it would be nice to open the blinds just a few inches but recoiled in horror as Darla began a long, low, growl.

I wonder if Angelus’ ears burnt they should have, they definitely would have done as the second girl was born. Rale was with Darla during the births, she knew what Darla would want just after the births. A nice clear plastic bag with a clear pipe was a handy container for Darla to drink the human blood from. Darla continued to mutter the obscenities about Angel though.

Rale pointed out that getting maintenance from a vampire for two vampire girls might be problematic. During the next few days the hospital administrators experienced another problem, there was several unexplained deaths, even more so when Rale went to visit the new mum. Darla did learn one thing during her stay in the hospital there are lots of blood bags in Oncology wards.

By the evening of the next day, Darla was back at Rale's house which was just as well as Darla's daughters had begun to grow. Even Rale was surprised at the rate that Darla's daughters grew, after three more days she said not many five day olds could walk, talk and had a full set of teeth. Both the girls Angela and Genrika were both like their mother, very beautiful and vampires!

Rale secretly did some reading, she came across the name Darla many times in connection with atrocities. It was then that she realised that Darla would want to go back to America for some serious payback. It was then that Rale decided to get a bit fitter. Darla's daughters seemed to be growing at about a year per week, the girls agreed that growing up that quick was a good thing.

Darla and Rale were just as impressed as neither of them had the terrible two's or the pain of the first teeth to deal with, although they had missed the first words and the girls taking their first steps. There was a big positive though, not having to get blood for two growing vampire girls.
Angela and Genrika agreed that they would only get a thirteenth and an eighteenth birthday.

One lazy day, well it was to sunny for a vampire to go outside, Rale queried Darla about her past, but as Darla pointed out that was nothing compared to what would be happening soon. Rale was a bit puzzled by the reply, then two days later the truth began to hit her, half the population of the local villages had been killed and not just killed, drained of blood.

Back in Sunnydale Giles and Wesley were reading many book that prophesized about Angel’s child being the Tro-Clon. They were not aware of Angela and Genrika, to seek the truth about Angel’s child Giles decided to ring an old friend in London. "Robson, it's Giles I'm trying to find out about the Tro-Clon what do you know?"

"Just listen a minute, I'm putting many cloves of Garlic about the room, the Tro-Clon are here, they have started an apocalypse. From what my sources tell me vampires have begun to spread, the watchers council was stopped, most of the watchers have been killed it's just you, me a Sam Zubuto I think and a Wesley Wyndham-Pryce, though I don't know where he is," said Robson.

"Wesley is with me now. He told me that the Tro-Clon will be Darla's baby," said Giles. "That isn't right, I was told that the Tro-Clon are Darla’s daughters and they are said to be growing at an unprecedented rate, it was them who started the latest apocalypse. Unfortunately though the authorities think all the deaths are a plague."

"What do you mean ALL of the deaths ?" asked Giles. "Tens of thousands have died, maybe more but I have another problem that I'm allied to now, it's the church all the religions see this threat as the work of the devil. I may have surprised them when I told them it was, but you should get ready a vampire said that they have left for America, three days ago," said Robson.

As it was, the source was a lie. As with the benefits of modern travel the vampires are now in most capital cities throughout the world. The vampires were growing in numbers and killing as they wanted. The one country that wasn't being attacked openly was America, as with all other countries the armies were halted and then the police.

Angela, Genrika and Darla agreed that there was enough people in America to keep them happy and not thirsty until the others rose. That and once the human race had been culled enough the evil one could rise and take control. Giles looked at Wesley, he thought to himself for a minute then looked at Wesley again.

"They may have got themselves organised, it's time we did," said Giles. "I'll get every-one to Sunnydale, it isn't many though," said Wesley. "Gunn may know of some people, but they might not believe him." "That's easy, get them to ring the UK." "I'll give Buffy the bad news, we were trying to find out about some commando guys, we can forget about them though."

The next day Giles rang Robson but a girl answered the phone. Giles said who he was, the girl told him that she was in training to be a slayer. She said she had only escaped being killed because Mr Robson had hidden her, she said she had tried to leave England by boat though nothing was available unless you were a vampire.

"I'm not too sure if I'll be able to tomorrow," said Alison. Giles replaced the receiver, picked it up then rang Buffy, glad to hear her voice when she answered the phone. "Buffy? Good! I've got a problem can you get here soon, and with Willow. If you can it will help if you would ask Angel to get here, and fast as well?" asked Giles.

Darla And Her Daughters part 2

It was fifteen minutes later the door to Giles's place swung open. Giles was shocked to see who stood at the door in front of him. "Why hello there Giles, I want you to tell this to my dear boy it will be fun time for us soon." It was another ten minutes before Buffy and Willow came in. "So what is it Giles, more good news?" asked Buffy. "Depends, I've got all sorts of news,” said Giles.

“There was the good news, the not so good news, the bad news and the very bad news," said Giles. Buffy looked to him. "What's the good news?" asked Buffy. “It is about those military boys,” replied Giles. "What? Oh now that I know who they are! I went to all that trouble for what so you can say forget about them? I put my body on the line!" exclaimed Buffy.

“Hmm oh you have, what do you mean?" asked Giles. "She has been dating one of them," said Willow. "Which I would not have done.” (she glared at Willow) if you weren't so insistent that we find out as much as we can about them," said Buffy. "What is the not so good news?" asked Willow with a smile. "Darla is back, the bad news about her being she is with her daughters and

the very bad news is that they started the apocalypse," stated Giles. "Just the usual then," said Buffy. "Not this time, they are preparing the world first, and judging by what people have said about it, England was first," said Giles. "When you say it like that what did you mean about England WAS first?" asked Willow. "I'd prefer to wait before I disclosed that,” said Giles.

“Why?” asked Willow. “To see if a certain person gets here," said Giles. It was eight thirty that evening, in the room Wesley was sat with Fred and Gunn. Angel was next to Cordy. Willow was next to Oz while Riley was with Buffy, Anya held Xander. Giles walked into the room with a girl he introduced Alison. "Giles wants me to tell you about England,” said Alison.

“During the daylight hours the people still living in England head towards France. At night any people left on the streets will die. Those who are left are saying the annihilation of mankind has begun. Strangely though this country seems to be untouched. When we left England bound for here every road we travelled on was empty,” said Alison.

“Mr Robson had told me that every watcher in England was dead, I was given a list of people for Mr Giles to ring,” added Alison. "What do they think is the problem over there?" asked Riley. "As I said those people in the know believe that the final apocalypse has started, it has been started by the vampire Darla and her daughters, they are the Tro-Clon," said Alison

"Any-one here know this Darla ?" asked Riley. "Angel and Darla used to be an item, it is their baby is who the Tro-Clon, Angel's son," said Cordy. “That is not right, Darla has had two daughters Angela and Genrika they are possibly the children of Angel, a possibility as Darla is out to get Angel,” said Giles

"We had better be prepared for when she gets here," said Angel. "Too late, I know for a fact that Darla is in America, she was spoke to me earlier, with both her daughters," said Giles. "That's it Riley, you get your soldier mates to protect Giles," said Buffy.
"My leaders won't like that," said Riley. "You've been told what to do, so do it," said Alison.

"I'm telling you, that isn't what their trained for," stated Riley. “Put it like this either you do what we say or when the battles start we will not protect them,” said Alison. "No, we know what we are doing we have many demons in our prisons," said Riley. "This isn't a game Riley, see how long your army survives without us, but if you are going to come back, don't leave it to long."

Throughout the evening they talked about what they would do. Xander, Anya and Willow walked back to their homes, Xander and Anya intended to take Willow to her but when they were almost there three vampires stood in their way. “Have you met my daughters Angelica and Genrika, I'd like you to give Angel a message," said Darla. "Yes okay, we will," said Anya.

"It'll have do be done in mime though," said Darla grinning to Anya. Anya stepped back, terrified what was about to happen to her. "Don't worry Anya. Oh, I say that, but you don't mind me caressing your body do you? You'll be rubbing my shoulders soon," said Genrika, smiling.
Genreika smelled the perspiration starting to run down Anya's chest, Darla licked at it.

She quickly moved to Anya's neck and smelt the fear. “Come here girls have a smell of this,” said Darla. Angelica and Genrika loved the waft from Anya’s neck. “And Anya used to be a Vengeance demon,” said Darla. "Oh I do love that smell," said Genrika as she sank her
teeth into Anya's blood vein Angelica drained the life’s blood until she was dead.

Xander looked into Darla's yellow eyes, as she grew closer, he felt a pain on his neck then in his neck. The darkness began to replace his life. As Darla and her daughters Willow promised to pass on the message, Darla smiled then gave her daughters a moist hand towel each, to wipe the blood away from their mouths.

Darla smiled to herself, she had the proof that she a vampire, was capable of being in love with her daughters. Happy that Willow had taken her message and that she had seen her daughters drink an ex demon dry Darla led her daughters to a comfortable apartment where they could relax before more plans needed to be made.

Willow got up early the next morning, remembering the conversations of the previous night, she wanted to make the most of the days daylight hours. She dressed, grabbed some food, then ran to her friends house, stopping just before she got there she had forgotten that she had seen Anya and Xander be killed by the vampires.

Tears in her eyes she turned away only to see Buffy standing in front of her. "Come on, we need to leave here," said Buffy. Sitting with Giles was Cordelia when Buffy and Willow walked in.
"I thought I needed to be here, as you said Buffy, Giles needs to be protected, we need to agree on who by." “Anya and Xander, were killed by Darla’s daughters in front of me,” said Willow.

"It has started then, any favours you can call in Giles?" asked Angel. "I think there might be one," said Willow, "the doppelganger of me, if we get her here from before she died we can use that to persuade her. If she does not agree we can send her back to her death." To make the circle Cordy and Angel joined Willow and Giles. The figure of the vampire Willow began to appear.

The Willows looked to each other, Willow found herself liking the vampire her. "We have some questions for you, vampires are taking over this world, those here are trying to stop them, would you be willing to help us?" Willow looked around, then seeing Angel. "You are like me yet you help these people? I was offered friendship, I can now repay that,” said the vampire Willow.

“Where is the one called Xander?" asked vampire Willow. "Killed by them," said Willow.
"As my best memories are of Xander, also, as I am dead in my dimension. Could we be as friends Willow?" asked the vampire Willow as she patted Willow bottom cheeks. Willow stared at her, “Why do I find myself not so unhappy with what you just did?”

"If you will help us, then yes we will be friends. I will even dress in a leather outfit like you, or you could wear my pink sweater," said Willow laughing. "Then I agree to be with you, to help you, on condition that I never wear that sweater," said the vampire Willow. The vampire Willow was brought the rest of the way into the world.

Willow reached out to the vampire Willow. "This gives a new meaning to that song, I Touch Myself," said Willow. "Willows you are both smiling! Stop it!" exclaimed Buffy. "Just a thought other me, I could feel that you are a witch, have you ever tried to make yourself appear as another? How about appearing as a vampire like me?" asked Vampire Willow.

Later that evening Willow dressed like her other they both stood beside each other in tight fitting leather outfits, they went with Buffy to see Riley and found him dressed the same as the other soldiers. Riley looked at them, then realised that there was two Willows. "Who is how did you do that?" “Riley one of them is the vampire from another dimension,” said Buffy.

"Sorry Buffy, we are both vampires," they both became vampires, “and best of all we both look like twins,” said Willow. "Well Riley?" asked Buffy. "They will still need some convincing," said Riley. Given that Willow created a hole for the other Willow to pass through I would suggest your people join us quickly,” said Buffy.

"I chose to come here, to be with these against my own kind, yet you humans with your toys need convincing?" Forest leapt to his feet, "A hostile!" he pointed his blaster at Vampire Willow
"No," said Willow, jumping in the way, “put that down." Willow glared at Forest. "I, SAID, PUT, IT, DOWN." Willow caused the Blaster to melt.

Forest was a bit surprised, but he looked down his nose at Buffy. "And what have you got?"
Buffy stepped forward, pivoted on her left foot, then smashed her right foot on to Forests chest. He flew across the room, smashing through the window, then rolling on the grass outside. He
walked back into the room still rubbing his chest.

"So, you are the slayer? I hope this Giles has enough cups for the eight of us." Buffy smiled to both Willows. "I will need to tell our leaders where we will be," said Riley. Buffy asked him if he wanted the time to inform their leaders Riley shook his head, “I think we should gather and prepare ourselves for a battle.

DARLA AND HER DAUGHTERS part 3

"What is it Giles, what are you thinking of?" asked Buffy. He looked about "There is something wrong, I can feel something though I’m not sure what," he replied. The Willow who was a visitor from another reality spoke up, "I take it you have only just figured something is amiss.” Giles faced that Willow, "What is it, what, are we wrong?" asked Giles.

"You need to ask yourselves who is at the Hellmouth,” Willow looked to her other, “clever aren't I?" asked Willow. "Yes I really do think we are, “replied Vampire Willow. Buffy glared at each of the Willows. "This was a bad idea from the start, first they both became Willows, then they both become vampires, now look at them, they sound just like each other,” said Buffy.

"You just wait until I get the same make up as me," said Willow. "Oh dear, now she is really becoming a bad influence on herself," said Giles he faced each Willow in turn. Willow smiled to herself, then asked, "Anyone has got a shiny?” “What is it with those two?” asked Buffy. "This Hellmouth, what is it?" asked Willow. "Just a cavern in the planet," said Buffy.

Giles remarked, “England would be a good place to be, to see who was about to depart, from what I’ve heard Ireland has had all life eradicated. Knowing who to send is the main problem, knowing who would recognise who we should fear. I had thought of Alison but can she feel if a vampire is near plus there are some vampires who’d recognise us.” Giles looked to Buffy.

"Normally I would agree with you, but this time is not normal," said Buffy. Knowing that vampires are on the way is more important than knowing who they are, although some knowledge of who might be good at times. Splitting into groups Giles remained to continue to train Alison, Willow stayed for a while to make an invisible fence.

As the darkness crept over the land, a lone Boeing 787 was flying high above them., though it was coming in to land at LA international airport. As it flew over the desert it dumped what excess fuel it had carried from England soon the sand was drenched, due to the constant tail winds, those on the ground knew nothing of what was about to happen.

Even as the plane landed at LA International airport, usually one of the busiest airports in the world, it was now seriously quiet. Without any problem the plane taxied to the terminal then shut down even the lights on the plane went black. The CDC ignored the plane because of the reports of death through the country, a plane with a reduced passenger log was left to fend for itself.

It wasn’t until the grounds people opened the doors and the sound of air rushing in heralded the opening of the doors. Unsure about enter Grace with Brenda stopped as soon as they had alighted from the plane, “Excuse me my dears, haven't you forgotten something?" asked Drusilla. "Oh, the pilots! Sorry mum," said Brenda. Drusilla waited for her daughter.

Noticing the notice on the door as she was about to get off the plane Brenda smiled towards the notice, “Why thank you, yes I did have a nice flight,” she said licking her lips. “There, doesn’t that feel better?” asked Drusilla. As Brenda approached Grace she smiled sweetly to her mother and joined them to get to the taxi rank outside the airport terminal.

Getting a taxi at the airport terminal one of her daughters began to rub the driver up. "Not him dear, he is one of us," said Drusilla. "Yes mum, I know," said Grace, "I was just getting in some practise." Drusilla looked out of the taxi’s window. "You'll go pop if you drink too much Grace”. Grace joined her mother looking out of the window. “Thank you mother,” said Brenda.

Drusilla looked to her daughter, “Why did you say that Brenda?” asked Drusilla. Brenda smiled
“Grace and I agreed this the other night, about how you rescued us after our car broke down on that country road, how you stopped those animals from attacking us and for now, we have enjoyed the life we have now even though we are not, you know, alive,” said Brenda.

“Of your telling us how to enjoy this existence, of how to keep the humans alive long enough to supply us with blood, we would never have thought it important to use fire to keep the humans able to supply us with blood, and now you are taking us to see our heroine, I do hope Darla likes us?” The taxi driver was stunned, “You are friends with Darla!”

As the taxi driver kept driving he told Drusilla he would be able to get her to meet Darla sooner than he had originally told her. As the sun began to rise behind the buildings the taxi driver pressed then buttons that activated the lining of the cars windows to protect them from the sun’s harmful elements,

In his apartment Giles had begun to make breakfast for Alison, as they relaxed after eating toast and marmalade followed by some Weetabix Giles wanted Alison to tell him of her ability to tell him what she was able to foretell. Alison had a mouthful of coffee. “I feel others are about to join Darla and her daughters.”

Giles waited for Alison to tell him who it was. “I know that Darla and her daughters Genrika and
Angela are not far from here, though they are stationery now and have been for many hours. Originally I did not know why but others have become closer they are Brenda and her sister Grace, it is their mother who you know, Drusilla.

I know you saw Drusilla as the also ran when Darla was about,” said Alison. “She was, but when she and Darla got together they became empowered, it might be that Drusilla’s mind may have become clear and that might have given clearance to her foretelling of the future and if that is how I think it is we need to be specific when accepting our view of the future,” said Giles.

Five men ran from an apartment close to where Giles resided, he watched as they pushed their way by people who seemed to be out of their way. Giles was about to call on Buffy to go and force those men to behave themselves when the four girls confronted them, Giles quickly realised the girls were vampires as they took as much punishment as the guys could deliver.

Giles grew more horrified than he had been for a long time as he recognised the two older beings with them; Darla and Drusilla, they attacked the men and without revealing their vampiric tendencies they killed the men. Giles felt embarrassed by his thoughts of them as they both appeared to be quite beautiful – motherhood was being quite kind to them.

Giles kept looking at them, he was impressed that both of them were dressed as many a modern woman would be. Even though they were far enough away he could see they both wore make up. Giles realized that as vampires had no reflection they would have to have done the others make up. He knew that as a bonding exercise that would have made them even closer.

As he watched the scene he saw Angel get near to them then heard one of the girls shout to Angel, he looked up to see Darla's face, then he heard the screams of delight, “So we meet again, my dear boy." Genrika and Angela looked at Angel. "So this is our father?” asked Genrika, “I think you should leave mummy."

"Recognise the voice did you Angel, I am one of your daughters, I am Angela!" Angel closed his eyes for an instant, but it was long enough for her to slice her arm through the air and create a slice of blood to adhorn Angel’s throat and the blood to ooze from the cut. The three other girls dragged their claws down Angels back, he screamed then threw Angela against a brick wall.

She bounced off the wall. “Now if I had been a normal human I’d have told my mother what you had just done. As it is though you did not hurt me, I am sad though as I know my mother would have liked to have repaid you, I hope she is happy that I did. Angel gave her a quizzical glance as the four girls took on the appearance of vampires then attacked and killed the Angel beast.

Darla and her Daughters Part 4

Angela looked at his limp body. "Seeing you like that won't stop us," she said and her sister charged at him, she thrust her elbow into his throat smiling happily that she saw no reaction from him. She ran to be at her mother’s side and smiled to her. “Look what we did mum!” Darla and Drusilla showed to be near the locker that Angela had just bounced from.

The daughters heard the locker being torn apart, they looked to see their mothers ripping all evidence of it disappearing from existence. Long after the vampires had gone Alison with Willow and Buffy ventured to where they had been. "There is another problem here," said Alison, “The vampires know where we are if they do come back chances are we won't live long.”

Buffy looked to Willow and Alison. “When or if they do get back they will know they'd be walking into a trap." "I see your point Willow so even if we do leave now that'd give us another problem, how would we tell the others where we are so we can't go to our friends as we don't know where they are, can you contact them Alison?" asked Buffy.

Alison replied “No, I'm only a potential, I don't have the ability yet." "It comes to me then," said Vampire Willow Alison faced both Willow’s "How's that err Willow?" asked Alison even though she wasn’t sure which Willow to speak to. "Will and I are the same person, so in theory it's easier for me to contact myself than it is for you to contact some-one else," stated Willow.

"It sounds right, first up empty your mind of everything," said Alison. "See yourself walking along a path in a field by a stone wall, you'll need to concentrate hard on everything, flowers, weeds, but especially the stones in the stone wall, when nothing else is there but the path at your feet you should see Willow think of Willow then concentrate on Willow," said Alison.

"There is no time limit here, take your time. To get ready, you'll need to make yourself comfortable, 'cos you might be doing this for several hours," said Alison. For the next three hours Willow's body didn't even flinch, luckily the act of breathing wasn't a distraction for her.
Alison drew Giles's attention as she saw Willow's shoulder move.

"Are you with us now Willow?" asked Alison. The vampire Willow replied, "I'm back though you ought to know that when I wasn’t here I saw her but I couldn't talk to her, it looked like she was getting ready for bed." “Well, it was worth Willow?” asked Buffy Willow blushed as Buffy felt conscious she has spoken to the wrong Willow. Alison wanted to know which one she was.

Willow grinned to her. “I am the vampire Willow as is my other.” Buffy glanced questioningly to her. Both Willows grinned. “We did what we thought would be best by using my gift your friend Willow caused herself to be like me,” said the vampire Willow though I should not refer to myself as the vampire anymore because we both are.”

“It has been quite handy even up to now, we can proceed with plans quickly, for instance I had the idea that we should get Darla and Drusilla’s daughters to be at Stonehenge. A place where we could use our supernatural powers,” said Willow. Giles looked to her, “But vampires don’t have that sort of power.” Willow grinned to him.

“That may be so for the elder vampire Willow but I was a witch and oh yes, I could. Now we are both as I was and we can both do what a normal human night refer to as the impossible.” Alison exchanged a glance with her, "So what do you want us to do?" asked Alison. The Willow she was looking at told her they should arrange a place and time to meet at Stonehenge.

We would all meet in the afternoon when the protection of the outcrop of trees to the west of the stones, to meet there in the afternoon when the shade covers the ground. Hopefully though they are not aware of how easily the wind can remove the protection, knowing how the wind can cause a vampire deadly problem.

With luck the children of Darla and Drusilla will want to impress their mothers so they have the likelihood of not watching how the wind will move the branches of the trees. It was when Darla and Drusilla entered the circle of stones and saw the speed the shadows of the clouds moved below their feet that Darla knew her end was near.

Screams of pain quickly filled the air as gallons of holy water began to drench the vampires. Darla was almost in tears as she remembered her thoughts as she her daughters remains spread over the land. "Tonight is their night," said Angela. "It does look that way," replied Darla. "Can't say we didn't try, I wonder if this will be recor.........”

Darla never heard what Angela was going to say, she felt daughters dust as specks from their remains mingled with the ground on her face. The Willows asked Darla if she had any last words as the small clouds of dust floated passed her. Only the faint smell of Holy Water was evident the most feared vampires had once been there.
