im sorry but i love darla!she is so cool. granted she is totally evil but there is just this coolness about her.it was so so very sad when she died to save conner.does anyone think that angel loved her a little bit, just for the fact that he was her lover for 150 years and they have that weird connection between them?
luv cordy ::angel::

I think that Angel did love her a little bit. When he knew it was too late to save her in season two, he had the chance to stake her and didn't. He had the same opportunity early this season when she approached him pregnant and all.

I totaly dig Darla too! Lmao, she has definately evolved from that kilt basically school uniform!
Angel obviously had some love left for her, you can see it in his eyes!

how could anybody not love our introduction to jw's world?

angel worshipped her,weather that involves love........surely in her final redemption(&sacrifice) he could love her.is a surrogate soul a real sou.i'msurethere should be athread about the true nature of the soul in buffyverse.ie/////. is being evil not having a soul or are you soulless because you're evil.can you gain a soul by not committing evil(maybe spike)or is evil black & white.
Dala rules!most satisfying story arc for a character in buffyverse ever!!!!!!!!!!but i don't want to lose her.............she's gone

Darla is very cool and pretty and I think that Angel love her a little bit after all the years he was with her how could he not?beside he had Connor with her and they always will have this bond

I totally agree! Angel has to have some love for her, they were together for so long and even brought another being into the world as a consequence together. I think, also, that the shows have always told us that vampires are naturally 'drawn' to their sires too.
I ::heart:: Julie - shes so talented and she just oozes charm and grace, dont you think?

😀

I'm not sure how much of Darla's staking herself was for the sake of the baby, and how much was to put herself out of her own misery, which must have been significant. (She did ask Angel to kill her at the arcade where she was preying on children, to end her pregnancy and the insatiable hunger, but he wouldn't because the baby had a soul.)

I guess the fact that (presumably) the survival of the baby was part of her motivation at all is significant in of itself for a vampire.

I think she did it for the baby. She seemed to start to love the baby, and i think it was a sweet sacrifce.
I was watching re-runs, and i was crying again, when Dru sires Darla. It's such a sad ep! 🙁
