David Fury's concerns about 'Angel''s budget this season:

I really don't like how that sounds, but all things considered, I prefer less-budgeted Angel to no Angel... I just hope they really can finish the season, the first two episodes are just too damn good...

Anyway, with their new lineup (Smallville), maybe they'll get better ratings... and less budget also means less ratings needed, also Spike helps with the non-angel buffy crowd... hopefully they'll get enough ratings to end the year...
 
That article is not nice, but I beleive we will get 22 episodes which are as grand as all other episodes shown on Buffy & Angel previous!!!
 
This can't be good, but the writers are great, so they think of something, if they don't succeed, the cast members should only get paid half of their salary, in order to save their jobs!
 
can you just imagine how many p off people there will be if god forbid they had to cancel angel? but i just cant see that happening,now after this season is done it just might happen,i realy hope not.
 
TRYING TO MAKE ENTIRE STORYS IN THE W + H OFFICES! NOT BEING ABLE TO AFFORD FLASHBACKS! What the hell is the WB doing to Angel?

On a plus note episode seven will be all Wes and he will do "cool things". I hope some of these involve a Shotgun.

I would prefer "Angel on UPN with a big budget" myself.
 
DONT CANCEL ANGEL is all i can say...

FRIGG!! If i have to Ill send all of my paychecks to Joss or Fury or whatever just to keep this show on!!!!!

why is it that with the WB you ALWAYS have to live in fear? i HATE em 😡

IF the WB cancels it, there's a pretty good chance that the UPN buys it!
 
Yes, since BUFFY did so well. I don't want to live in constant fear each season that Angel might get cancelled. I always looked forward to the flashbacks. Spike and Angel sitting in a bar can pulled off... right?::change::
 
Yeah Angel's ratings will go higher especially with Harmony and Spike and the Buffy alumni coming.
 
Harmony's so funny, but maybe that's because Joss Whedon wrote "Conviction." I expect a lot of people to see what happens to the Spike/Buffy/Angel triangle in February. It's in February, right?

But what can Angel and Spike do in a bar?
 
Angel get drunk? Don't think so. I hope Joss can get a little extra from the WB so that he can afford the flashbacks.
 
I look forward to flashbacks of Angel's past each season! Can they even afford to set anyone on fire anymore?

I know that having a vamp dusted onscreen costs $5,000 or so and I guess we won't be seeing a lot of that.
 
this is the problem I have with the WB, now they cut down the budget of the show to much espically since its in its 5th season and now its affecting the qulity of the show and storylines.
 
Ok folks. lets organize an attack on the WB! nothing with death but we'll steal all they're plans for future shows, and other shows storylines for the future and realese them to the public! That way the only show that hasn't been spoiled is Angel and everyone will watch it! I really hope I'm allowed to say that!

Oh ya, in case someone from the WB reads this. You guys are great! no problems with the way your running things! nope no problem!
