David Thinks A Buffy Movie Will Never Happen :(

Honestly, I would not want a Buffy movie. I'd be to scared that people would not like it. I just want to leave it the way it is.

Which is also why I really dislike the people who decided to make a Buffy movie without Joss. The possiblity of people not liking it shot up by a trillion when they made that choice.

Why do you think it is that she becomes so uncomfortable when being asked that question? I mean, Joss made it sort of clear there would not be another movie. So it's not entirely because she does not wish to reprise her role.
 
Guys, do you seriously believe a movie will happen? I used to believe it would way back in 2004, but now? The chances are very slim, and the actors got too old to play the characters, unless it's about the Core Four being in the 30s.
 
Nobody is saying that a movie with the original actors is going to happen. In fact, all of us are saying there is not going to be one or we don't want one. There is in fact, going to be a Buffy movie without Joss Whedon though.
 
Well, there's a non-Joss movie in development. That doesn't necessarily mean it will actually get made. Most movies never make it past the development stage. Especially with all the negative reaction this idea has gotten. I haven't heard anything about this since the first announcement months ago.

I go through stages of wanting a movie. Sometimes, when I'm really in "Buffy mode" + I'll watch a couple seasons back to back, I'll think a movie would be a really great idea.

Most times, I see it wouldn't work. Alyson's successfully doing her own thing on TV (as are a few others) and the rest are just happy living their lives.
 
Well the more I think of the issue maybe its best not to come back, season 7 disappointed me so badly I dont think I could face something like that again 🙁
 
I am a HUGE BANGEL fan and i would love to see them together again but i have to agree with David!!! It was 1997 when it started and now it's 2009...so many things have changed,i don't think it would be possible to make a film about Buffy at the time being...
There are many vampire movies nowadays(which in my opinion can't be compared to Buffy's greatness,Buffy and Angel was original...anyway) and i am not sure how the audience would receive a Buffy movie
