hey, i bought this book about david boreanaz it was an unauthorised biography, and in it, it said that he had married an irish social worker called Ingrid.
Then i saw on this website he married a woman called Jamie from Utah!!
Whats goin on??!!??😕 😕
 
He divorced Ingrid, if memory serves, before Angel became a series. He married Jaimie a little over a year ago, and they have a one year old son named Jaden Rayne.
 
David married Ingrid Quinn on June 7th 1997. He filed for divorce in December 1999 ( i think) citing "irreconciliable differences". He married Jaime Bergman over the Thanksgiving Weekend in November 2001 and their son Jaden Rayne was born May 1st 2002 and just celebrated his first birthday. 🙂
 
Jaime Bergman was a former playboy model, if that makes any difference...
 
yep and I heard that he divorced his first wife since well she would get pretty upset when he had to kiss Sarah and well he married to Jamie now, got her pregnent first married second but they look like they have good times together and well now they have a son
 
I think he would find somone better, and not a ex Playboy...I think thats not right......I think he would have more morals..but thats my opinion.

Sarah and David never comfirmed that they were going out, Sarah said that was a rumor and I do have maybe 5 articles about them being a couple, they were very flirtashish and David never seemed to wear his wedding ring and rarely talked about Ingrid and the funny thing is that hes the one who suggested to use the claddagh(spelling)rings for Buffy and Angel and thats the rings he and ingrid wore when they were married but David rarely had it on like I said before but basically Ingrid probably was just jelous of Sarahs relation ship with David, but who wouldnt be, sarah even cried when David left the show
 
Just as Cordelia once said: It's always a petit Blonde that pushes him over the edge.
Whatever the reasons for the split- hope his first wife didn't suffer too much.
Most likely it won't be his last marriage, unless his fame fades - oops - even then I guess he'll have to find himself a new companion........

i did read sum where that he met her at a playboy party.
 
Okay, let's clear things up here.

David's wife was a Playboy bunny/model/whatever you want to call it, and because that's what she was, isn't a slur on her character and doesn't mean that she has dubious morals. She's David's wife, he loves her very much and they have a child together. If her morals were indeed questionable, the question is, would David have married her?, who knows and to be honest, who cares?. A lot of people think that being a Playboy model is something on the lines of being a porn star.

There's been a lot of rumours and innuendoes about David's private life, and his first wife. Again, whether there's any truth in them in anyone's guess. But i read in an interview with David four or five or more years ago that Ingrid bought him the silver claddagh, that this was his wedding ring when he married her and it was her idea that he wore it in "Buffy".

And regarding David's first wife, put yourself in this situation. Your husband has been a struggling actor for as long as you've known him and all of a sudden he gets his big break and women want him and don't care how obvious they make the fact that they want him. What would you do?. I know i'd be pretty insecure. But again, the stories of her showing up unnannounced on the sets of Buffy and Angel are just that- stories.

I'm not slamming anyone, we're all entitled to our own opinions and this is mine 🙂

I completely agree with you *Lost Angel*
i thought that someone like david would have had better taste and more respect for himself than to date an ex playboy model and as a huge fan of his i was completely gutted and my high opinions of him really sank when i found out, but i think i'm over it now.

I read in a magazine that they had only known each other 3 months when he proposed to her which isn't really long enough to know someone well enough to be completely sure that you can be happy with them and whether the mirriage would work. It's so obvious that it must have been a shotgun marriage.
 
well even though I shouldnt judge, she was also pregnant when they got married which just makes me think if it would be differently if she wasnt but they love each other but any way, Davids a BIG flirt and 3 months isnt long enough but they are human beings
 
So you think David "had" to get married? that he was trapped? because that's the big impression i'm getting here.

Ever hear of love at first sight?, meeting someone whom you instantly know is your soul mate?... well, guess what, it happened to me, only i didn't marry mine after three months. We were engaged within a year of meeting, but within weeks i knew he was the one, but i digress.

If Jaime had been a nurse, a doctor, a librarian or a teacher, would we be having this discussion? probably not. Nope, Jaime was/is a model, she's blonde, she's beautiful and most of all, she's David's wife. David loves her, he loves their son. She may have taken her clothes off to pose in a mens' magazine, she may not have, it's none of our business. It obviously isn't a big deal to David. Because she did this, does NOT make her a bad person, or have questionable morals. She's beautiful, has a beautiful body and decided to make some money from it. She didn't kill anyone, she hasn't committed some heinous crime. David acts, he makes money from his talent. Why shouldn't Jaime?.

How would you know that three months is too short a time to decide to get married?. They're still married eighteen months on, so i guess something's going right in the marriage. You can see how much he loves her, loves their son, by the way he talks about them. He's a happy man and that's what's important.

I'm a huge fan of David's. I have been for over four years now. Ask anyone that knows me and they'll tell you that i'm probably one of his biggest fans (those who used to post at the old Buffy UK site particularly).

For all i've just stated, no one knows what goes on in their marriage and it's nobody's business. We don't know them. No one has the right to judge either of them because of what they do or did for a living. I'll state this again, because Jaime was a Playboy model doesn't make her a bad person. And because she was pregnant when they got married?, well when i took biology, i was taught that it takes TWO to make a baby, the responsibility goes both ways, i don't think that's changed or have i missed something? .

Please, don't slam Jaime because she's David's wife and we're all a little envious (she's gorgeous and she has David, who wouldn't be?). If you respect David, then you should respect the choices that he makes in his life.

And i'm not touching the subject again. You want to slam ME then go ahead, but the above is my opinion.

im not saying that he had to marry her I just think it wouldve had a better impression if she werent pregent when they married but I also said that they do love each other which is evident
 
keenangel: I absolutely agree with you. We shouldn't judge her or him just because of what she did for a living. Just because she posed naked does not mean she is a slut and it is not the same as porn star. Even SMG herself said that she might consider being in playboy. When you see David and his wife together they always seem happy and its plain that he loves his wife and his baby both.

I also think that some people might have a little trouble differentiating between David and Angel.
