I remember reading in a thread on here(if I could find it again I would just post in it) that the comming of Dawn was prophesized in Graduation Day?
Where?
When?
How?
I don't remember this....and the only thing I can think of is Faith saying..."Look at you...all dressed up in Big Sister's clothes"....but that is hardly a prophecy...

Miles to go - Little Ms. Muffet counting down from 7-3-0.

Faith said that to Buffy.
In 'Real Me' the crazy man calls Dawn curds and whey (refrencing to Little Ms. Muffet.)
It was 730 days from Graduation Day part 2 until Dawn's arrival in Buffy vs. Dracula

Thank you, Thank you, and just for a change of pace, thank you!
Lee...you are my new Hero!

I always wondered what Faith mean when she said that to Buffy in their vision...
(btw, since you're so smart, was that a shared vision, a slayer vision, or just a weird Buffy dream, and who did the cat represent?)

I knew what she meant by Miles to go...I just never got the rest of it...

Also, in season four's finale "Restless" Buffy spots her clock reading '7:30' and she says 'It's so late'. Then Tara says 'Oh. That clock is completely wrong.' Buffy leaves the scene and Tara says 'Be back before Dawn'.

Ooh, I knew the first part, but I didn't know about that. Thats funny. Funny in the..oooh thats neat I am glad I learned that way. 😀

I remember the dream, but I didnt really put two and two together until Jack told me. I like it, its simplistic but you still wouldnt have a clue what it meant until after Dawn came and you went back and really thought about it. Clever.

I never caught the Restless one (with the time) I did catch, "be back before Dawn"

But yeah... it's told in Graduation day. I love it when they do that.

yeah I loved the references to her and at the end where Buffy looks in Dawns room at the end of restless.

oooo..I knew about the reference in Restless, but never knew about her arrival being prophesized in Graduation Day.

It makes you wonder how far in advance Joss plans these things...

Lol, awww, and your my new favourite person 😉 LOL!
Anyways, so yeah, that dream they had, Im not confirming anything but Im guessing that dream thing was a Buffy prophecy dream, since Faith didnt mention anything to Buffy when she woke up in 'This Years Girl' and I'd wajor it would've been pretty important to mention seeing as it was a major plot point in Graduation Day when Buffy gets the knife after Faith tells her 'Take what you need'

very informative
There's also a reference to Dawn in 'This Year's Girl.' I'm not sure if its a Buffy dream, Faith dream or a shared dream, but at the beginning of the episode one of the slayers is having a dream and it cuts to Faith waking up in the hospital. This is the dream:

Faith and Buffy making a bed. Folding clean sheet.
Buffy: They smell good don't they?
Faith: What?
Buffy: Clean sheets. Like summer.
Faith: I wouldn't know.
Buffy: Right. I forgot.
Faith: I noticed.
Buffy: I wish I could stay, but...
Faith: Oh, you have to go.
Buffy: That's just what...
Faith: Little sis coming. I know.
Buffy: So much to do before she gets here.

Wow, I'm glad I finally posted this thread...instead of looking around for answers.
Stupid me, I won't do that next time, I've got all the experts right here.

It's amazing to think that they had this stuff planned seasons in advance. And I like the way Joss uses Faith to prepare us, since Faith and Buffy always had a sisterly like relationship(hey, lots of sisters try to kill eachother, and siblings throw eachother off roofs all the time! 😛)

I love the fact that Joss had everything planned in these lil details, that most viewers simply missed ....

Actually, Dawn was never prophecized in GD2, only in This Year's Girl and Restless. In GD2, Faith says that 730 days to go until Buffy's death, and that's why Tara says in Restless that the clock is wrong. It's now 365 days until Buffy's death in Restless.

Was reading through this thread wondering when someone was actually going to tell about the 730 days thing and then the last person beats me too it, LOL. I think the whole Buffy dying and Introducing Dawn back in S3/S4 was fantastic work on Joss's behalf, he is a legend.

I was actually wondering that last night (of course I had no net access, grrrr)....as 730 days is two years, and Dawn came only a year after graduation....

Wow, I just keep learning more and more!
Keep it comming!
