Dawn in Season 8

Does she matter? Is her plight going to be relevant to the larger story do you think? Is it already. Issues of trust, guilt, betrayal, isolation, and such.

What's her third transformation going to be, I wonder. Could she be Fray's monkey - Gates? Nah...

Will her keyness factor in here?

Dander? Think so?

I hope Dawns transformations mean something important to the story, along with her keyness being reactivated somehow. Dawns story was interesting at first but now I am just to the point where I just want her to go back to regular Dawn and do more exciting stuff with everyone else.

Ofcourse she matters, she's the sex appeal

and didn't Joss say he had big plans for her in season 8? meaning she will probably play a big role in the main story

As of right now Dawn has no purpose to the Season Eight story except certain plot point, like stepping on Amy or distracting the vampires or saving Xander from the castle being invaded, other than that she's had no purpose but to talk and complain about her predicament. Hopefully Joss will give her some type of power, cause I mean originally Dawn was suppose to be able to speak to the dead as well as do something else, so who knows maybe that'll pop up later in the season

Do we know for certain that she will go through three transformations? I thought that was just speculation on Xander's part?

Also, I'm thinking that perhaps Dawn's transformations aren't caused by a Thricewise, but instead are a result of the spell that shaped the Key into her going wonky. Somehow it is no longer working correctly and her shape is unstable. Perhaps this will later factor into the idea that magic is sealed away in a different dimension.

Anyway, her function in the story is obviously just sex appeal. 'cause dammit if I don't get the Jo Chen cover of issue 18, I'm going to hurt someone.

If Bander isn't going to happen, Dander will satisfy my romantic needs for this story just fine.

Well she's been a giant, a centaur, and abit of the info for the next issue says "Dawn's gone through another bizarre change". So either she changes again next issue or it's talking about her being a centaur

At least we know they fade. And Will's pretty sure we know the parameters. Three. Magic number three.

Anyway, I'm hoping there's some other big reveal here. Like she's stuck in the third form, and only she can get herself back to normal or something.

Also, I like the idea of her Keyness coming back into play.

Dawn herself said the transformation came because Kenny casted a spell on her because she cheated on him. So her changes have nothing to do with her being the key
