Yeah, what you need to remember is that a slayer's prophetic dream isn't the same thing as a memo or set of instructions. Mostly they come across as abstract and random images of what is to come, rather than visions of the sort that Cordy received.
None of the dreams we saw Buffy have were direct and to the point. They all had a message, some clearer than others, but none of them obvious. In Restless Buffy was linked to Xander, Willow and Giles because of the spell done in Primeval, which led all four of them to have slayeresque prophetic dreams. In Graduation Day Part 2 you had Buffy and Faith, both in a near death state, nearby to one another. It doesn't seem unreasonable that they shared a dream in much the same way. They even make the point of saying that they aren't sure who is dreaming what.
Faith's comments may have been part of Buffy's dream or they may have been part of a shared slayer psyche. Either way makes sense, as both were capable of prophetic dreams and we have no idea what that really means when two slayers exist at the same time and are in a dream state close to each other.
