Do you think it was good or bad? I thought it was too low key for a character who was destined to be on the show for so long!!

I loved it because only on Buffy could you introduce a new main character, a sister to the star and just act normally like she'd been there forever for a few episodes, it was cool. Then eventually it all got explained. Oh and on your Charmed vs Buffy signature I say Buffy of course🙂 but I loved the first 3 seasons of Charmed too

I liked it cause during the whole episode u think its just like any other day of their lives then when Buffy comes home and up to her room we see Dawn and their like "MOM!" I was like what the hell?

Let's just say, after watching the first ep with Dawn(the second in S5) the noly words I could say were Huh, What, and Huh. I really had no idea what the @#$% was going on. The only other time they did something like that was in Superstar.

I think Dawn's arrival was kind of bad. I mean, yeah it was great to introduce her like she had always been there...

but I always feel that filling everyone's heads with memories of Dawn caused the brain tumor in Joyce and killed her. Dawn killed Joyce. Anybody else see this?

I never thought of that of that before, good point! She's also responsible for the deaths of Buffy(stupid key!) and Tara(If she hadn't told Tara about the fight, than Tara would never of found out that Willow was erasing her memory, and that whole chain of events would never of happened.) Stupid Dawn! Be less unintentionally murderous!

hmm yeah good point.....but then why out of allllllllllllll the people memories were put into of dawn.......which would be SOO MANY people.....joyce would be the only one?

I thought it was cool. I remember watching the season 5 premiere and being completely shocked! Like, who is this girl and why does Joyce think she's Buffy's sister? LOL.

Charmed vs. Buffy? Duh!

I thought it was good bringin Dawn onto the prog the first slayer with a sister....and the way she would always care for her...i think thats reali sweet...

Do you remember in season four episode This Years Girl, I can't remember who dreamt it but Buffy and Faith have a conversation:
Buffy: That's just what....
Faith: Little sis coming. I know.
Buffy: So much to do before she gets here.
Were they giving us a hint about what was gonna happen?

yeah they were telling us Dawn would be coming and in another Buffy/Faith dream when Faith says something like "counting down from 730" she was telling us the day buffy would die which was The Gift

Well considering that Joyce is her "mother", she has more memories of Dawn than anybody else. She even has memories from before she was born, pregnancy, giving birth, conceptation(lol)

Dawn's arrival was definately bad! Why? Because she stayed there! She's always whining and crying or screeching... HELLO!!! No normal teen does that no matter what the stereotypes say! Buffy never did it at her age!

Another reference to Dawn's arrival was in "Restless" season 4.

Tara tells Buffy to be back before Dawn. It just seems cooky that that line was there and the premier of the next season ending had Dawn in it.

I don't know that may be reading a little too much into it.
I mean just cause they used the word "dawn" doesn't
mean they were hinting at anything.

I remember the end of the episode when Dawn was introduced.
I was yelling at the t.v."Sister! What sister! She hasn't had a sister in 4 years how can she suddenly have a sister!" it was
all very confusing.
