Dawn's Foreshadowing

There was a lot of foreshadowing in Buffy about Dawn.

For example, in This Year's Girl, Faith has a dream about her and Buffy making a bed for Buffy's little sister who's coming. In Restless, Tara tells Buffy "Be back before Dawn."

Those are the ones I caught, but are there more?

Anyways, did you guys catch the foreshadowing and saw it coming when Dawn showed up? Or was it a complete surprise to you? I think it was very clever and want to know what everyone thinks.

There is also in Graduation part II, when Faith says in the dream something like "Countdown Miss Muffin 570". I've read somewhere here that it was like the countdown in days in the story before Dawn arrives.
I like that it was foreshadowed for such a long time, it makes the story even more well-thought.

In Season 2, they mention something about the "Key". Was that maybe foreshadowing Dawn or were they talking about something completely different? I can't remember what episode it was...
