It is just a quickie.

After her first evenings trip with her sister Buffy taught her how to kill vampires. Dawn had been so happy even though she had not been entirely successful. That evening at home she entered her thoughts in her journal.

Three days later Willow took her out to see the wonders of Sunnydale, after they had seen all four of the wonders Willow introduced Dawn to her boyfriend. At first Dawn wasn't overly impressed at meeting Oz then Willow told her that Oz was in a rock band.

Dawn's ears pricked up she suddenly considered how they might be able to help each other. When Willow and Oz took her home Dawn gave the words she had written and suggested that Oz might make a song, or try to.

A week later Dawn received a message from Oz, he had read her words and tried to make a song but he didn't like the finished product so he had given the words to a friend.

Dawn received a message from Buffy and Angel to do a cover of Flesh and Bone with Oz's group Dingoes Ate my Baby doing the song,
this made Dawn really happy as it meant Buffy liked having her as a sister.

Strangely enough it was Dawn who wanted the (blue) words that began with the letter 'F' to be included.
Angelus wanted to be included as an extra but Spike refused him permission saying he was too lame.
I'm not sure if Spike smiled at that.
So Spike and Dawn went to the Karaoke machine and chose this song, then they turned up the volume.



And Buffy was so proud of Dawn.

Harmony left a message for Dawn to meet her and share a coffee with her.
At the meeting Harmony suggested to Dawn that she should learn to play the bagpipes as Harmony wanted Dawn to perform her favourite song, 'Long way to the top'.
After 18 months of concentrated learning Dawn became a competent performer and was invited by an AC/DC cover band to perform at one of their 'gigs'.
For the night of the gig Dawn was able to borrow one of Faith's red tops, she also was given one of her sister's blonde wigs. Amid much searching for footwear Dawn was surprised that it was one of Jenny's old boots she used.
Buffy was despondent that Dawn wanted to wear such a tiny skirt on stage so Buffy lent Dawn one of her long black skirts of the type she wore when she had first attended Sunnydale High

Dawn sent this as a gift to Faith for lending her the red top for #5

 
After bouncing her head on Dawn's front door many several times Drusilla sent her wishes for a Happy day to Dawn
with a smile that'd keep the neighbours at bay



 
Fed up with being bullied at school Dawn asked Buffy if she could have a chat with Spike.

Dawn couldn't resist singing this at Illyria's birthday bash.


no one knew how old Illyria is/ was/ will be.
Angel said he was going to get Spike to ask her how old she will be,
I'm not sure if he was serious as he was smiling.
 
The voice from the ether is the voice that sounds like Michelle T. (Dawn) She can be heard to proclaimed that the writer of these lyrics originally wanted the song to be called, 'VAMPIRE IN LOVE', it was to be in the film he was writing, a musical version of Nosferatu.

Do you have any doubts? Just think of the lyrics in the song that speak of 'Turn around Bright Eyes', and look at the vampires with bright eyes. How many films portrays vampires in the dark with bright eyes. What of the image of the male in the chair, behind him are his wings.



and a distant voice was heard to say, "I agree with you." That voice was of the character Darla.

After hearing what those she had once loved were doing Drusilla reached out from her grave of flowing waters to Spike. She described to him to send a message to Dawn




then with that delightful smile of hers she wished Dawn hello
 
did you consider it worthwhile to keep your eyes closed,
maybe you saw a benefit of guessing the value of the skeletons wings
and no the skeleton was not a vampire,
why do I say that
when a vampire ceases to exist
it becomes dust,
so I ask you, what was it?
