I tried watching Dawson's Creek a few years ago, they showed the whole thing from the beginning on tv, so I saw the first few episodes.. but I felt embarrassed just watching it, it was so bad. And then I've seen some stray episodes, the dialogue is crazy!

To me, seasons 1 and 2 both sucked pretty hard. S3 is when it started getting good.
 
I watched Dawson's Creek for about the first three seasons, and then stopped... I don't know, I just got into "Felicity" a lot more, and didn't have much time for TV back then.

I actually enjoy the first season a majority of the episodes. Some of those are my favorite like "The Scare" and "Decisions" I even like the second season even though it is heavy Dawson/Joey I enjoyed them early on.
I mainly liked season 2 for the introduction of Jack and the Andie/Pacey storyline. Plus his moments with his father.
Dawson's Creek was the first show I ever bought on dvd. I always consider Buffy to be it since it was the first show I watched straight through fast.

I love the Scare! Those little Halloween episodes they did were some of the best ones.

Woah. We're forgetting Audrey! What do we think of her?

I personally think she's alright. That whole storyline of her going off the rails was pretty amazing, she's a great actress. She provided me with plenty of laughs too.
 
Whoa are we back in the 90's/early 2000's again?

I never really got into Dawson's Creek as I was too young. It was something my sister watched and I hated because I wanted to watch the Disney Channel or Stargate.

Is it worth watching though? I do need to find new things to watch when I'm bored at uni.

It is a really flawed show but I honestly have gotten massive enjoyment from it. It's very entertaining. At least I think it is.

S1 isn't great, very dated, but still interesting.

S2 the pick up a notch and real investment in the characters begins

S3 KICK ASS. A really great season of TV...once you get that far you'll have to see it out.

It's the perfect show to watch whilst in college. I'm actually jealous that you have it all to look forward to 🙂

I love all the season one episodes and the music I loved the music! Detention was a great episode like "The breakfast club" and when Pacey said about Emilio "That guy from the ducks" I always laugh.

I loved Audrey she was so different from all of the other characters it was nice to see her. I also have a soft spot for Busy she is amazing actress and I am watching Freaks and Geeks at the moment and she is just brilliant in everything.
Her going off the rails was believable and her and Pacey were cute as well.

Detention is a freaking amazing episode. I'll always watch that one a couple of times before going onto the next one, it's just too good. Too good!

Audrey was a breath of fresh air for the cast I think, they needed an upbeat Harmony-like character. Audrey's fall from grace was some of the best acting I've seen on a TV show. Like you said, really believable. She's too funny aswell, even throughout her difficult time she kept a sense of humour.

Audrey = Decent gal. 😎

Tell me about it and I also love the episode where they play Savage Garden's truly madly deeply. My mind is going blank but it it the episode where the football player (Jesse lol from Buffy) says he and Joey did it. Then her and Jen work together with the help of Abby (another reason why I love detention we see Abby).
Also I love that Dawson is hanging with Jen's ex how awkward since he is there to take her back. Her ex was also in season one of Buffy the episode the pack how hilarious.

Watched that last night. :D
I never really watched this show besides the odd episode. It reminds me of Glee in that it is primarily aimed at females and queer blokes. I do enjoy the Dawson crying GIF however, and would urge all fans of the show to check out the following website.

Those videos are beyond brilliant. I want to go to Pacey-Con! Josh and James are HILARIOUS.
Christopher I love that! I saw it a while back and I think James is actually kind of hilarious and has a good sense of humor.
I am always watching the Pacey Con video I just never get sick of it. It is still as funny when I first saw it.

I honestly believe it was one of the best series on television.

The cast was so solid - James, Michelle, Katie, Josh - that I cannot chose a favorite amongst them. The dynamic of the writing and their portrayals as well as chemistry is what kept the show alive.

I might be biased, as this show is my life dramatized. Film guy, close group of friends since day care, new girl into the mix and so on and so forth ... Buffy/Angel is my favorite show but I can't help but teeter that Dawson's Creek is better, regardless of the missed notes they had in the run. (Eve? LOL!)

If you are interested in the series and haven't watched, don't read the rest ...

I was always a D/Jer and was so satisfied by the ending. I still am but for their friendship. P/J is what I would consider myself now. Dawson fit with Jen really well. It's also the only television finale that can turn me into a weeping lady. This show had so much heart! I wish there was as active a community for it as the Buffyverse; it's vastly underrated these days. One Tree Hill doesn't hold a candle to this series. Jack's journey was amazing, even now it works better than most gay storylines methinks. I'm an Audrey fan, too. I wish her and Andie could've been in a room together for a scene.

One of my very fews gripes is ignoring Audrey for the finale. Come on, Kevin Williamson; I know she wasn't your character but she played a big part in the last two seasons! You chose to leave the show, respect the major character created in your absence!

I'm not gonna go into details but NY approves of this message 😀 I'm actually a fan myself and recommend you peeps to check it out....I'm gonna have to buy the DVDs and get a good full rewatch on.

Ah, good 'ol DC. I watched it religiously as a young teen. Joey was my hero, and Katie was my favorite actress until she sold out her career to become Tom Cruise's trophy wife. *bitter* I think she was very talented.

Pacey and Joey forever.
 
Just caught an episode on Sony TV, it made me remember how much I loved this show. Going to have to try and watch it more often
