lol!! thanks
Dawson's Creek is my all time favorite show....second only to BtVS of course 😛 I rewatch the entire series yearly. Probably start again at the end of April. I love Pacey!! LOL

Aww Joey is so cute, Pacey is so horny, Dawson is so funny, and Jen is so (something) The pilot ~ I love how it starts out, not so sure about the music, and when it starts and finishes.. lol but I am liking the characters alot. And there is alot more 'mature' comments and aspects to it then I remember when I first watched it when I small and could remember things :s. I'm loving it! It's so funny and the feud between Joey/Jen/Dawson is hilarious. I keep saying advertisements for "I know what you did last summer" though.. Anyways

Jen: "Yes I am a virgin, what about you Joey?"

Joey: "Oh, years ago, to a trucker named Bubba" :lmao:

See now I don't remember it being like this.

Ahaha, I'm in love with the triangle between them!

Joey: "So Jen, you a size Queen?"
Jen: "Wha.. excuse me?"
Joey: "Well how important is the size to you?"
Jen: "Well, being a virgin I guess I haven't given it much thought. How about yourself Joey?
Joey: "Ehh.. I'm torn.."
Dawson: "You and me outside. Now."
Joey: "What do you think Dawson?"
Dawson: "I'm going to kill you."
Joey: "Did you notice the long finger"
lol

Joey is so jealous and Jen isn't even a bad person. She seems really sweet. Another thing I'm noticing is Pacey seems alot more mature at times and yet completely teenager like at times as well. He's overly confidant and has zero trouble talking to and talking back to the 'adults' and yet is so immature at the same time. And yet still makes out with his teacher.

And aww it was so cute that they were sleeping in the bed as friends in the very beginning then at the end they can't anymore because in one episode they have changed and realize it. And made some more dirty references before leaving. I don't think I can even mention them here..  turns to a 😀 at the end. One of the best endings to anything I've watched in a while. She's crying and then Dawson yells out "Usually in the morning with Katie Curick(sp)" A joke referencing the previous one I couldn't say. Turning Joey's tears into laughter! Well it's definitely not a younger viewers show like I remember it. Which is GREAT. I'm definitely going to continue!!

: king :

I liked that show. I liked the way they talked. They were funny and raunchy, but they had well-developed vocabularies and spoke in complete sentences. It was awesome. They were irritating, hormone driven teenagers a la 90210, but that didn't mean they couldn't at least try to sound intelligent. Their SAT-worthy speech patterns drew me to the show.

I remember liking the fact that the adults had front-and-center storylines that were well-integrated with the kids' stories. It was kind of like My So-Called Life in that respect. I also remember that the kids had goals and ambitions beyond snagging dates for the dance. For example, I remember Dawson wanted to make films. That was a big part of the character. Joey wanted to go to college. I don't remember what Pacey and Jen wanted to do; I think Pacey just wanted to get laid a lot. Maybe Jen, too. 🙂 Finally, I remember laughing at a lot of the jokes. That's always good.

Blowing through it!! On episode 5 at the moment!! I love Joey's dirty mouth lol and all the subtext and conversations everyone has. Pacey/Dawson's conversation after Pacey has sex with his teacher and tells Dawson about it was such a great scene. Also Joey and Dawson's heart to heart conversations are always cute to watch. And I love how each character has their own beliefs/views of one another and we don't just see the show not from one characters POV. From what I remember everyone hooks up with everyone eventually ? So I can't wait to see how things unfold. I'm trying not to be impatient lol but as I said I'm already on episode 5 😀 I love the look on Pacey's face when his brother hits on his teacher.. his brother who I think turns out to be gay? Anyways Pacey's expression is priceless

^ I think I remember the Dawson/Pacey discussion after Pacey has sex with the teacher. Doesn't Pacey ask how he did and Dawson admits to having no clue?

That was funny, but creepy, too. I certainly never asked any of my friends to critique my performance! The most info we ever shared was this not-so-creative trick with whipped cream. And here, kiddies, is why you should never ever share that kind of information. I'm serious. Don't do it. Learn from the mistakes of Palabra: the friend with whom I swapped a bit of that kind of information was, at that time, dating the man who would eventually become my husband. You just never know how things will turn out. I never would have guessed that I would someday end up married at all, let alone to the man about whom my best friend was dishing. So unless you want to know intimate details about your best friend and your husband (and believe me; you don't), never ever kiss and tell like Dawson and Pacey!

lol I'm just at the part in the episode entitled Hurricane where Pacey told his teacher.. his girlfriend teacher that his brother is gay and now his brother is flirting with said teacher lol and it eventually leads to this:

Pacey's Brother: "Did you tell her I'm gay?"

Tamara: "No I guessed it. Whe..When I lived in New York I lived on Christopher street. I have good gaydar."

Pacey's Brother:"You told her didn't you. Tell her I'm not gay!"

Pacey: "She has gaydar." :lmao:

Pacey's Brother:"Tamara I am not gay."

Tamara: "It's okay to be gay"

Pacey: "That's exactly what I've been trying to tell him Tamara"

Then his brother pulls out a gun, points it at him and demands he tells her he's not gay.. lol

Pacey: "Alright he's not gay"

Pacey's Brother: *puts away gun* "Alright then, who's turn is it"
:lmao:

I rewatched all of Dawson's Creek last year. I thought it was great. I'd seen large parts of it already, but never the second half of the last season. My best friend (who owned the DVDs) thought the ending sucked like you couldn't believe, but I actually liked it a lot. It was almost perfect.

I gave in last year and d/led a few eps and watched. It's actually a good show. Most people who hate it have either never seen it or just saw a random episode and had no idea what was going on, and therefore couldn't appreciate it.

However, it's a well-written show, with well-rounded characters. The acting is good for a teen drama and really the only thing that separates DC from Buffy is the supernatural elements. Dawson's Creek is clever, witty, and somewhat insightful from the four episodes I've seen.

I plan on watching the rest of the series after I've caught up on my other shows.

i love it, I raised myself on a diet of BtVS, Dawsons, Roswell and Charmed. Everything I ever wanted to know was in those shows 😀
I'd love to re-watch it all in one go, the best I've managed is to buy all the seasons over the last few years and watch it in stages, so I wish you luck!

I have to say it some of the worst writing on tv, really soooo many storylines were broached but never explored...Jen's half sister anyone? or who they hell is Jen's Baby Daddy?...I really felt that the last 2 seasons sucked...A LOt...However, season 3 has some of my all time favourite episodes of television. Pacey Witter is possibly the sweetest guy to ever grace tv screens...how can you not love him? Three eps stand out for me..the one where Pacey helps Joey and Bessy open their B&B, the scene at the end where he is watching Joey sleeping and realising that he is falling in love with her.....also the one when the gang goes to see Dawson's Aunt...Joey and Pacey's exhanges throughout the whole thing were so cute and of course the last ep of season 3 when they sail away together...I mean come on! I don't care how unealistic it is...it's brilliantly romantic!

you really can't go past Joey/Pacey

I love all those show!! : king : Thanks lol ^

I never really got into the show, how-ever I did like the episode about the Blair Witch Project.

^ really? Those episodes - the scary/mystery episodes they did every now and then, never grabbed me (possibly cause i'm a scaredy-cat)

Haha!! I'm on episode 7 (Detention) where they are all in detention for various crimes and start talking about how it's so breakfest club and then start talking about what happened to all of the actors and the movies they went into and :lmao: Pacey starts to talk about Emilio Estavez (whatever his name is) and says how amazing the mighty ducks movies were.. the ones he starred in and everyone looks at him like "eww" :lmao: That always cracks me up!

Edit:

Aww I just finished watching episode 7, and it was so sad at the end. Everyone started sharing there feeling and then Joey burst out in tears because she couldn't say what she was feeling. It was so sad, Katie Holmes is such a good actress. Almost made me tear up for her, she was so upset and so alone and couldn't say how much she liked Dawson  I love her to death!

Wow, I was just about to post mentioning that the Detention episode was my favourite. 🙂

I started re-watching DC this year also, I got as far as Season 3 and didn't feel like watching further... Though I do want to watch Season 4, for the Joey/Paceyness of it (I really support that couple I don't know why lol.) I didn't really like the first two seasons, I had to keep reminding myself that they were supposed to be 15/16... I wasn't that mature at that age lol. And for some reason the tradition the show kept of a character being alone and brooding, to have another character walk up and chat with that person... It was predictable and repetitive and annoying lol. But I loved the show a lot when I was 12/13 so the show has significance for me there... So it still will stand out to me.
