This is a kinda Queen of the Damned and Buffy cross over thing. Please be honest about what you think of it cuz it might get a bit corny.
As the sunset loomed over the trees that night I got up and dressed, trying not to disturb him. It was almost time for me to feed and having him tag along would only slow me down. He was of no use to me. I can do just fine on my own.
Contrary to his thinking I am better now than I have ever been. My senses sharper after being locked in that tomb for centuries. I now feel that it is safe to venture out on my own. The world has changed. It's not what it used to be in the 1600's. It's different. I know that the inventions have changed much of the world but it wasn't that that made me wake. It was the people. So many people are crying out to the dead. Wanting death too. What really woke me...was the girl.
Walking through the woods looking for that first meal. The thirst for blood was overwhelming me, it was an obsession. I had to feed...and soon.
I walked and walked and walked. Finally I reached a small sign saying, "Welcome to Sunnydale". So I kept walking, into the town. I finally found her. My first meal. She was a blonde girl with penetrating hazel eyes. Usually I'd go for the guys but still...there was something about her that made me need to know how she tasted.
She was walking to somewhere, probably home as it was past midnight now. I followed her to a house on Revello Drive. I watched her enter and head upstairs. I ventured around to a window trying to find her again. When I found her I just stood and watched as she pulled a thick wooden stake from her sleeve and place it in a drawer. She obviously knew of our kind. I jumped and landed silently on the ledge by her window and waited invisible to passers-by.
When the lights went out and I heard her breathing slow and become regular I slipped the lock up and silently enter her room. She slept on not knowing an uninvited guest had just given itself an open invitation. I sat on the foot of her bed waiting for the right moment. Just as the clock struck one I sank my fangs into her neck. She gasped but didn't move. It was as if she was welcoming death unto her. I drank slowly savoring the blood. It was powerful, strong. I knew this girl was special. I pulled back quickly feeling a burning sensation on my hand. She was wearing a cross.
"Who are you?" I asked her.
"Buffy Summers. The vampire slayer. Who are you?"
How stupid could I get? I remembered they had had slayers back when we were exiled. But it has been so long, I had thought they didn't exist anymore.
"Akasha. Master to all dead and damned."
"Sorry Kasha, that title's been taken. The Master? Ugly really white had fruit punch mouth and he never shifted vamp face. Know him?" Buffy said
"Know him? I made him." I laughed quietly. Buffy tensed just a tad.
"Didn't know he was calling himself 'The Master'. Where is he?" I asked her.
"Hell. I killed him." Buffy said shivering slightly.
"Oh." My non committal response.
"Wha-what do you want from me?" Buffy asked.
"Your blood." As I walked back over to her bed and placed my hand on the spot where I had bitten her.
"Why?" She asked me stupidly. Any slayer should know what a vampire
"You're the bloody slayer! You have strength and power that when tapped into could rival mine. You're special. I want to know why."
"What do you want here? Why have you risen?"
"That is an important matter." I said waving my hand aside.
"What you need to worry about is how to stop what I'm bringing"
"And what exactly is that?" She asked me.
She was so powerful and so small. How could she possibly be the slayer?
"Hell on Earth."
That morning as I strode back into my home just as the sun peaked over the horizon.
"Where have you been?" He asked me.
"Out" I replied taking off my shoes and coat.
"Out where? You've been feeding again! I know it! You're not strong enough to venture out by yourself!" He was furious with me. I could really care less.
I plopped down on the bed calmly and sized him up. I could tell him...
So I did.
"She let you walk out? Just like that?" He was astonished and...proud was the word I think.
"You let her walk out? With an open invitation to come and finish the job? Buffy this is terribly foolish of you." Giles said as she told him the events of the previous night.
"Well, yeah. But Giles you don't understand! This vampire pre-dates the written word. She sired the Master! I have to get to know what she's like." Buffy looked at Giles pleadingly.
He shook his head. "No, Buffy I absolutely forbid this! As your watcher..."
"You are not my watcher anymore. And if you were what a whole lot good you could do. Sitting there reading those books, telling me when dangers coming when you've never had to fight it. You've never had to risk your life or die trying to save the world. You don't know how hard it is to keep my chin up. I'm sick and tired of fighting these vampires and demons everyday and never know for myself what its like to be one. Never feel the rush when some vamp bites you, least of all the sired of the Master." Buffy said standing up and walking over to Giles.
"You're talking about death Buffy! Death is not something you can try out and return. It's eternity. Forever. Death is a one way street." Giles grabbed her hand and said more gently, "I care about you. You're like a daughter to me and I don't want to lose you. Just think about your mother. Do you want to put her life at risk too?"
Buffy shook her head and Giles smiled. "Now, Willow and I will come over tomorrow night to do the spell. I just hope that will be soon enough."
What Giles doesn't see is Buffy crossing her fingers behind her back.

I have worked on this part of it for about 2 weeks so I really need opinions.
