DEAD END

The Good;
Well if you like gross horror concepts this one's for you! A very nice end to the Lindsey story arc (for now) and some good humour about corporations and how they work. Very clever scene where we see around Lindsey's apartment with all the little features showing his life with 1 hand.

The Bad;
When Lindsey shoots up the boardroom where the heck are WR+H's crack security team who always seem to turn up on every other occasion?

Best line:
Lindsey "Stop it evil hand!"

Jeez, how did they get away with that?
Eye stabbing anyone? Or living organ donors? Plus Angel garrotting the parole officer.

Of course this being LA even the organ donors are insanely pretty. Lindsey pinches Lilah on the way out, well you would, wouldn't you?

Captain Subtext;
Angel seems to yearn for the parole officers 'butterfat'? (Yuck!)

Wetherby, Collins and Smith. Angel, Cordy, Oz, Spike, Buffy, Wes, Faith, Darla, Dru, Master, Anne, Harmony, Willow

Questions and observations;
Once again Wes and Angel subtly compete for leadership. Love Wes delegating Angel to help Cordy. Lilah suffers a death of the thousand cuts, constantly humiliated by Lindsey, treated as a secretary by Lindsey's client. No offence to Christian Kane but I really don't think he's that good as a singer. Kate is sorely missed by AI who now have to pay an outside contractor. Poor Cordy, the visions really starting to take their toll. Interestingly Angel warns Lindsey to never come back and Lindsey warns Angel never to play WR&H's game. NEITHER listens to each other's advice.

Marks out of 10; 8/10 great stuff and the last we'll see off Lindsey for 3 whole seasons.

This episode really freaked me out, but I still liked it, especially the end. Lindsey's crazy antics with his "evil hand" were the funniest things I'd ever seen. 😀

"Stop it evil hand, stop it!"

Tried that excuse once at a strip club but the bouncers were a cynical bunch

I loved how the LA Song really shows Lindsay's dissatisfaction of where his job has gotten him. Part of him was afraid of leaving the other part was more afraid of being the pawn in Hollands Master/Slave scenario.

Yeah, they showed me the door, the street, the pavement, the ambulance and ultimately the emergency room!: erm :

I just watched this ep for a second time. I really enjoy it. 'Epiphanied' Angel is so freaking funny, and the banter between him and Lindsey is gold.
I especially love Lindsey's little fit when Angel turns up at the probation officer's house :lmao:
I've definitely learned to like Lindsey even more now 😀

I like this episode a lot. I actually kind of wish Lindsay hadn't come back - I didn't care for his S5 arc, and I think this was a good sendoff.

I love the LA Song that Lindsey sings in this episode. It was so well-performed and was actually quite lovely. (But sidenote: Did anyone notice that this is the song Eve starts singing for Lorne in A Hole in the World? I just realized this a little while ago... )

Lilah... oh God, it was hard to watch her crack in this episode. And the subject matter was actually pretty disturbing to me. Harvesting body parts... It's something I know goes on in real life but I wish that I didn't have to know this. Even more, I wish that it didn't happen.

But on a lighter note...

"COPS SUCK."

XD

Someone had to point the song out to me too. And Lilah is a treat, with Lindsey gone it gives her the chance to shine and Stephanie makes the most of it

I never understood why Eve sang that song. I mean, I think the implication is supposed to be that he sang it too her, therefore there's a connection between them - or at least, he sang it in front of her. But... have you looked at the lyrics? If you were looking to place all your trust in your partner, those words aren't exactly encouraging.

(But it all adds to the Grand Theory of Langel, so I'm good with it.)

This episode is really good! The whole scene at the end at W&H with Lindsey going on about his 'evil' hand, haha =P

Another moment that was funny is when Angel and him go to that place where they harvest the body parts, and Angel tell him something along 'get ready to fight' and Lindsey turn around and take a battle stance as if Angel had just challenged HIM. LMAO!

It is a really strong episode. Love the moment when everyone is just in awe of Lindsay's singing. I have to disagree with Saturn, i think he is a great singer. Cordelia, Wes and Angel complimenting him on his performance was funny but even better was Angel quote "What is that "Country", "Rock", "Ballad" make up your mind :biggrin3:

I also love the verbal sparring between Angel and Lindsay. Great entertainment and at the end you sense they've got a certain amount of respect for one another.

I love any moment with Angel and Lindsay. This was on of my favorites for them besides for when he cut of his hand in season one. Angel is so witty when he is around Lindsay.

Yes like alot of people said this was hilarious because of the end scenes with Lindsay and his "evil hand". I laughed so hard. Upsetting because he left but overall a good end until he came back.

Creepy subject but good episode. I like Christian Kane as a singer,he's not bad. So...liked the scene with the "evil hand"when Angel says bye to him at the end...(COPS SUCK) and when Angel was annoyed everybody thought Lindsey was awesome. 😛

LOVE this episode! The idea of body part harvesting is creepy enough in itself, but then they walk into that place with all the bodies...some of which are still alive!! Seriously the stuff of some gruesome horror movie. Greenwalt wrote this one, and I don't think he's given enough credit- Joss usually gets all the accolades.

I always enjoy it when we have parallel storylines going on, that was done well here.

Love "Charlie!" LOL.

Well, I'm gonna miss Lindsey- and Langel- for awhile. Loved his character, I daresay more than Lilah, although together they're magic!
