I know that some of you have been wondering where @DeadlyDuo has run off to...I mean, she hasn't posted since last Thursday! Where is she?
Well, it's a rather odd story. Last Friday night, she was kidnapped from a pub. A well-dressed gentleman had offered her a drink, but (of course!) it was drugged. Next thing she knew, she was alone in a cold room. She was confused, hungover, and a bit frightened. However, a young man soon entered the room to inform her that she was in Saudi Arabia; apparently, a sheikh had seen her some time ago and wanted her as his wife. She nearly fainted. He assured her that this wasn't a joke.
Naturally, she was a bit put out about all of this, but the young man warned her, "Please calm down. Accept that you have only two choices...marriage or the harem." She thought about it for a minute, realising that being a harem girl would be...ahem...really tiring. So she shrugged and said, "I suppose marriage is acceptable." The young man clapped his hands with delight. "Here is a picture of your future husband." He handed her a photo:
To make a long story short, she is now married and living somewhere out in the desert. (I think she's even learned to ride a camel!) Here's a very recent picture of her:
I don't know if she'll be posting here anymore. After all, she has to un-learn all of those annoying British ways 😛 and THAT could take some time because she's quite stubborn. But, I have faith in her. She'll make a great wife because if she doesn't, there's always the harem! 😳
