Dear Scared & Unsure:

I say go for it because usually friendships will develop into the best relationships as you have a common ground to start on. Unless there is something, such as a boyfriend/girlfriend, hindering you from pursuing this, I'd say go on full speed ahead. If they're really your friend, they'll understand and be grateful for your honesty even if they don't feel the same way. Thanks again for contacting me with that question.

I also say GO FOR IT.

But I would try not to immediately run to her and scream "I LIKE YOU SO MUCH" or a "Check yes or no" kind of thing. You got to do things subtle, so you can find out if she also likes you.

For instance, suggest that you hang out more. That way you can spend more time together alone and I think it will be pretty obvious if she likes you once you hang out a couple of times. Because if you rush into something, and it doesn't work out, then you could ruin your friendship.

Does anyone actually do that "check yes or no" thing anymore? If they do, hunny come up with a new strategy as it is so not fabulous 😀
