Suprise deaths? I think its safe to say that Buffy probably isnt going to be killed, everyone first assumption is that she will die. Shes the most obvious character to die. Oh god, I've just thought, what if Anya dies? Oh no, anyone but Anya, Buffy, Willow and Xander, i dont care as long as they dont die.
 
I think Andrew, Spike and all the SITs, except for Kennedy, will die!
 
Just an idea...

I remember when Glory had captured Dawn in season 5: Buffy told Giles that if Dawn dies, she would quit. Perhaps that is how they will explain Sarah's departure from the show without killing Buffy. If Dawn is killed, once the FE is defeated, Buffy would simply leave town.
 
That's a possibility.

I think Anya will die... I don't think that it's possible for her to just leave town...
Giles will live, obviously because of the spinoff he's inolved with.

Personally, I think all the SIT's should only be the ones that die. All the other characters are too important to the fans to kill them...
 
The more I think about it, the more certain I am becoming that Spike will actually be killed off. Which would suck, a lot.

Dawn dying seems a little farfetched, though it would be great. I just don't think they'll kill off 'the kid.'

Willow seems unlikely. She is now a front-runner in the spinoff possibilities race, with Faith biting the dust.

Anya, like Spike, seems a likely victim of the Buffyverse's bloodlust. Again, too bad. I really like her.

Buffy is pretty nearly a lock to survive. 2 deaths are enough.

Kennedy is probably going to survive. Too bad...I'm not attached to her yet. That's a pretty good reason not to kill her -- little emotional impact.

Andrew is pretty iffy to me. He may still have some of the crazy 'I probably should have died by now but people like me enough for me to survive' luck left, the kind that finally ran out for Jonathan. Spike's supply is uncertain.

Giles is not going to die. Unless 'Ripper' does, of course. 😉

A snowball-in-hell analogy would not be out of place if used for the miscallaneous SiTs.

cause just how screwed up do we want willow to be?

i hope its hmm actually i dont really want anyone, no wait , the potential with the fake english accent i want her to die *nods* yup thatd be good
 
I think Anya and Spike will die. I have thought this for ages but I dont really know why. But I reckon Spike will die for Buffy 🙂 how sweet would that be! Surely they are not gonna kill off the main cast from Season 1, Buffy, Willow, Xander and Giles? I also think Andrew and maybe Kennedy will die.
 
Buffy & Faith- There is gonna be a spin-off I heard from someone that stated they read it in a magazine that Joss Whedon said he was gonna have spin-off to the show. And they can't have another slayer unless buffy or faith dies.

Kennedy- Willow stated "You Were the most Powerful" when she asorbed the power from all the people in the room when trying to open the portal. She has the most camera time and she just seems to be the stongest overall. She may not be the leading star but she could definately be the slayer.

Molly- She is the tall skinny girl who has long hair and is totally dorky cute. haha Yeah I think itd be cool if she was the Slayer. But I have no logic on that. She was a pretty great fighter on instinct when she first came in contact with the vamp.

Dawn- She would be able to lead a show as a slayer I think but I have no logic on why she would become the new slayer except that I think deep down her character wants to be a slayer.

Willow- As a big role in the next one? Nah... she's a witch who cant use her powers because she turns evil. She might and probably will be in the spin-off but honestly.. I dont think she could be the "leading" women.

Spike- would die for buffy. I think that, that would be a truly amazing ending for him if he dies.

Angel- wont die because I think he has a season Five? doi!

Faith- HHHMMMM NO! I just don't want her to die. She is to FAITH to die. I want her take on a role in Angel, but I dont think she is going to .

Cordy- Should die because I just dont think its "really" cordy anymore. I think its some evil thing. I think when she "came back" it wasnt her and it hasnt been since.. but then again she did feel horrible after she had sex with Conner the day after..?


Giles- DIE? I dont think so..............

oZ- come back.... not likely.

Anya- she will prob die.. I mean.. she is afraid of bunnies? and she has no powers anymore.. she is nothing but a human.. and its not like she is like Gunn or Wesley and can kick ass?

Can people please explain why they hate Kennedy so much? I mean, I admit it took me a little while to warm to her, but I'm not in any hurry to see her get killed, (unlike the redhead with the pathetically fake English accent).

I think she'd make a great addition to any future spin-off. Maybe not as the leading character, but certainly one of the series regulars. Besides, no way would they kill of Willow's lover 2 seasons in a row. That's almost as unlikely as Buffy getting killed yet again.

And if you need any other reason to keep her in the show, the actress is fine-as-hell. (Seriously, anyone want to argue with me on that point?). Just give the character some time to develop a little more before signing her death warrant!

As for everyone else after the series finale:

Xander - I really can't see him making the transition to a spin-off. I just don't see what purpose that would serve. That doesn't necessarily mean killing him off, (I don't think the fans would forgive that one).

Anya - Probably gets killed off. There's really nothing left to do with her character.

Spike - Not too sure about this one. A grand sacrafice would be a great way to end the character, but I keep remembering an interview with James Marsters discussing the plans for the next spin-off. Which begs the question - why has he been told about it if he's not going to be invloved?

Buffy - Another death would just be completely unbelievable. I'm guessing they'll find another way to write her out.

Dawn - Again, could go either way. I don't see her in a future spin-off though. It would be too difficult to explain her presence in the absence of Buffy.

Giles - No way are they killing him off!

Faith - Much as I hate to admit it, I reckon she's toast.

Andrew - Killing him serves no real purpose, though I suppose they could just count him as collateral damage.

Willow - Definite survivor with spin-off potential.


So, who's spin-off do we think is coming first then - Willow or Giles?
 
If Eliza has decided not to do a Faith series, Joss may decide to give Faith her redemption by sacrificing herself for the whole world. PLus this would activate the next slayer (it appears that the writers are preparing us for Kennedy as that slayer).

I can see a scene after Faith dies like that where Bufy smiles and says something like "Faith is okay. I know where she is. She's happy. She's found peace."

Dawn is a good target as well. Seven of Nine brought out a good point, Dawn dying would be a great way to write SMG out without killing Buffy.

Xander is probably not going to die. He's an original cast member and I think his contract is through season 8.

Anya is another good target. What else can they really do with her as a character? Umm...... nothing.

Andrew is minced. He is an annoyance and with the exception of the importance of his tears last episode, has done little to nothing to help Buffy, or the show.

Kennedy is safe I think. IF Faith dies and Kennedy is called as the next slayer, that will set up the spin-off and explain why Willow would stick around. Xander would stick around for Willow. Dawn (if she survives) would be looked after by Willow and Xander.

Spike is safe too, I think. Buffy would ask Spike to watch out for Dawn (if she survives). Or Buffy would have nothing to do with Spike because he would remind her of why Dawn is dead.

I want to see Spike and Angel interact. They have a LOT in common right now. A love for Buffy and they are (we think) the only two vampires on the planet with souls. One difference is that Angel can lose his if he gets too happy and Spike got his so that he CAN be happy.

I wouldn't mind seeing Spike head over to LA and hanging out iwth AI for awhile.
 
um...someone said that willow couldn't hold her own show because she couldn't use her powers, but if that could be her deal...major bad evil attacking and she'd have to learn to use her magics to save the world and not go evil...again! And plus can you imagien the SFX they'd have to use! just thinking about it makes me twitch! lol
 
all I can say is I hope Anya, Willow and Xander don;t die!!!! i know Buffy won't!! They are all my fave🙂!

I use to think that too🙄 , But there would be no surpise over Anya's death. Considering EC, is leaving at the end of the season. everyone think Spike would be the one to die, sacrificing his life for Buffy's. *Sweet*

But it will be a real surpise if the big scoobie death is someone we least expect. -Xander and Dawn😀

in Willow's dream in Restless, Buffy is supposed to be dressed as someone from Chicago- clearly Velma, who Catherine Zeta Jones plays in the new movie version. The thing of it is, Velma kills her sister and husband. In "weight of the world" buffy had dreams/thoughts of killing her sister. If everything from restless is to be recreated, buffy might wind up having to kill "Dawn". In the beginning of season 7, they showed Xander as the father figure. like he was Buffy 's husband. so it might foreshadows buffy killing Xander as well. ME said there were to be a surprise death- Dawn and Xander would be surprising.
 
I think Spike and Dawn will die, dont know why, just got a feeling. And I really hope Anya doesnt die, its not needed, it might have been needed if season 8 was gonna happen, becuase she would have left then, but i just want Anya, Willow, Xander and Buffy to survive, dont care about the rest, ooh and Giles, if hes not already dead!
