Deaths That You Think Should Not Have Happened

Yet even so this development hadn't been sufficient enough for me to really feel sad about her death. It was shocking don't get me wrong but it didn't provide me with the same feeling i felt when Angel was sent to hell by Buffy, Buffy's two deaths, Xander losing an eye etc.

Exactly. I bawled my eyes out at the endings of Becoming and Hero, but at the end of Seeing Red I didn't shed a single tear - I was just pissed.

It's not that fact that we lost Tara that annoys me most, it's the manner in which it was done. I loved Doyle to bits and we only got 9 episodes of him, but I wouldn't change the ending of "Hero" for the world, because it was an absolutely beautiful end for his character. "Seeing Red" was an ugly, insulting end for Tara.

totally agree about doyle, his death was so emotional because of the way it was done. Even though he only featured in 9 episodes it was still very powerful unlike Tara's

So true. One doesn't have to be a Tara fan to know that Seeing Red was just horrible.

And, although I haven't seen AtS, Cordelia's character assassination/death is one of the reasons I'm not exactly rushing to watch it. She was one of my favorite characters on Buffy, and after what they did to Willow I just don't think I could go through that again.

Mr. Trick. My favorite vampire. I wish we had gotten to see him a few more episodes.

Unexpected response, but I find I agree. I really enjoyed Mr. Trick and I wouldn't have minded seeing some more of him.

The 2 deaths that I really disliked were Cordy and Anya. I was upset that Tara died and I would have like to see her on the show longer, but it didn't make me really mad at Joss.

I really HATE Cordy's death because she was my favorite Buffyverse character and it was awful to see her go down hill in the middle of season 3 when her wardrobe went downhill and got an awful haircut, and then had a murderer inside of her sleeping with her almost son in season 4, and Joss destroyed her so much. And like Kean said, as much as I love Youre Welcome and thought it was beautiful, she should have been in all of season 5 or should have come back in You're Welcome and stayed after that as a member of the gang, and Spike didn't need to replace her again. Even if Charisma's pregnancy was a problem, Cordelia didn't have to be ruined and killed off. And I dislike season 5 because Cordelia isn't in it and it just isn't the same.

Also, I really dislike Anya's death alot because she's my 2nd favorite character on Buffyverse and it upset me alot when she died at the end because there wasn't any reason too even though Emma asked to be killed off, and she could have been with Xander at the end of Chosen because of they almost back together after Touched and it would have been amazing. Also, I would have liked it alittle bit more if they put Anya in coma, because she wouldn't be alive or dead.

Wesley. Killing him was just unnecessary. Honestly, I think he should have left California and gone somewhere else. Sure, he's probably have to continue to fight things of a demony nature, but I just really think he needed to get out of Wolfram and Hart. I understand he might have been written about in the Angel comics, so if he was, please don't tell me! 🙂

I think Wesley should have left California and come to Perth, Australia where he would star in a spin off with Cait 😉

Realistically though, I can understand why they made the decision to kill Wesley in the final episode, but I don't exactly agree with the decision. It would have been great to see Wesley and Lorne run away together and star in their own spin off with Faith. Those three would be dynamite together!

I think all the deaths made were certainly shocking to us the audience, and it did help develop the plot. The deaths's I won't forget are Jenny's, Tara's and Lilah's. However the way Cordy went sucked, and there was need to kill off Lindsey. With the Jossverse if a couple is ever happy, you know it won't be long until one of them end's up dead!!!

I would have liked to see that. It would have been weird seeing it but i wonder how it would have played out.

He was really sweet. He was the, potentially at least, first real friend she got in college aside from the gang. Xander wasn't around and Oz & Willow seemed to fit right in.

I've always liked Eddie since I first watched The Freshman.

In fact, there's quite a few people I've wanted to see more of on BtVS & AtS but they only lasted one episode/scene.

I think Doyle's death should have happened at the end of Season 1 instead of the middle. I think the last half of Ats Season 1 struggles and the finale would have been more exciting had Doyle died then.

I agree, I love that we got Wesley but I would have wanted more of Doyle.

Would definately have made the end of the season a lot more powerful and eventful but then again it would change the story. If Doyle wasn't killed early in season 1 then Wesley wouldn't have fitted into the show which was crucial for the Faith storyline.
