ok i see all these amazing and long banners around. and i thought well fine i might aswell have one lol so i made myself one but with it being big i had to add the info about me being a banner maker and save our vampires (you know dont cancel angel) here is the banner in my sig

well the banner i made its a simple banner all the faces are layer masked over one another. then i took the finished blend of faces into a differnt cavas and indexed the image. image>> mode >> index

a window should pop up and you'll get 7 options put them all like this
palette: local (selective)
colours : 3
Forced: black and white
transparancys (tick)

Matte: none
Dither: pattern
amount and presevr extract colour dont count.

press ok and you picture should have an patten on it and be balck and white now copy and past that image over the oringinal. and set the layer mode as overlay and play around with the opacity of the layer so that you can see the picutre under neith

then what i did was i duplicated that patten layer and put a motion blur on it so that the patten turned into long lines. then all i did was add a gradent over the top and put the layer mode at colour turning it blue then added the text


i hope that helps. i used photoshop for that
