"Deleted Posts" under Post Quotes

I've noticed this off and on. Sometimes when I receive notifications that my posts have been quoted, when the browser directs me to the quotes page there is a "Deleted Posts" line instead of the quote.

I'm just a little curious, is that someone has quoted my post and their ensuring post has since been deleted? It doesn't happen often or anything, just enough for me to wonder.

It could be that it's a post the member deleted themselves, or they edited out the quote from their post.
