Demon Hunters' E D C

(For those not familiar with the term, "E D C" stands for Every Day Carry, as in, your personal choice of demon hunting weaponry, the one that is always with you, 24/7. Examples would be Buffy's wooden stake or Wes' .45 automatic.)

Assume that you live in a universe where vampires, demons, zombies, or werewolves may lurk behind every tree or around every corner, ready to strike. What one single weapon would you choose as your E D C? Bear in mind, this has to be something that is small enough to carry concealed without being noticed, but still be powerful enough to serve as a serious first line of self defense against whatever you might encounter.

I don't know much about weapons, but I think I would want some sort of knife or blade that was really easy to use and extremely efficient.

I'd like a gun too, but I don't know that I'd want to rely solely on that as ammo could easily become an issue.

Also, I'd always have holy water on me.

Hmmmm....good question 😀 I think I'd always carry a wooden stake, it's good for stabbing and also plonking people on the head with lol Maybe also a stun gun?? They still seem to work on vamps, Spike was kinda 'stunned gunned' by the intiative, so I think that would be useful on any type of 'beings' lurking around lol I'm not really a bullet gun kinda girl 🙂

If it were winter nd I had a long coat or cloak/poncho, I could easily hide a smallish sword, right? 😉 Then that's a it, a sword. Cutting off heads works vampires, zombies and most demons. And other demons have other vulnerable spots.

A silver-bladed hatchet, with a wooden handle carved into a stake at the end. Assuming that stakes don't dust with the vamps.

It doesn't need to be the SPN version that kill every demon, though. I'd take an ordinary knife, as long as it looks badass like this one! 😀

A taser, like Veronica Mars. Easy to use, and effective. Maybe a stake too.
